Two big issues I've been presented with at a very young age were over evolution and homosexuality.
In regard to evolution, I've taken classes, and been to seminars, and I admit, there's enough evidence there to not discredit it.
So can a Christian accept evolution? Because honestly, yes, I'm starting to accept certain evolutionary ideas.
Homosexuality:
I've been told by my parents/religious figures since childhood that homosexuals are not normal and homosexuality is a sinful choice (and yes, my "role models" have called them far worse things"
But, in my more recent research, I'm starting to lean more towards sexual orientation being biological, if this is the case, why would the Bible condemn homosexuals? Yes, I've read the passages.
An analogy I can think of is left-handed people.
