I don't know what 9/11 conspiracy movie you watched but I watched this video called loose change, at Question911.com and I was shocked and really angry. The Video contains nothing but facts. No opinions, the film makers use logic to make thier point. I personally believe what the video says.
Yes, I think most americans trust thier government, because it would be considered "un- patriotic" to think anything other then what we are told to believe. But If americans never questioned their government then we would be speaking with a british accent right now.
No, I don't think americans know what is going on behind the scenes, pretty much for the same reason I listed above. Also because anyone that questions the government in this sort of way is thought of as crazy.
I am personally not going around screaming out about a 9/11 conspiracy, because I'm not going to push my beliefs on anyone else, ecspecially on a subject this touchy. But If anyone wants to call me unpatriotic or unamerican for thinking the way I do, they better be prepared for an earfull.
Plus, you know what happens to people that go public and question the government, they either end up looking like an idiot, because of the media discrediting them, or they end up dead.
By the way, I am not a "conspiracy nut" I live a perfectly normal life. And I don't think that believing in somthing that is outside of the rhelm of common opinion qualifies you as a nut. I think most of you people are just too close- minded to even listen to anything other than what you already "know". Good luck with that.

The operative words in your post are "watched the conspiracy 9/11 movie".
Doesn't the fact that it is presented that way answer your questions.
Check out the movie Screw Loose Change. You can find it on the web. Then take a look at the following sources.

It's a movie for crying out loud. Did you also expect to find dinosaurs walking through your back yard after watching Jurassic Park. Grow up will you.

Sheeeeesh....if you're gulping this much kool aid over a new movie, I hope you never watch "Independence Day" or "War of the Worlds".
Please take a moment to plan a trip to reality someday--you might enjoy it enough to stay.

There is no New York City. Didn't you see the end of Planet of the Apes. In the movie they did away with it. So none of this could have happened. Geeze.

That movie is good propaganda, but lacks something called facts and evidence.
