Yes, I think so. The governments loyality needs to be to its people not itself. The government is starting to abuse its power more frequently- and attempting to elect its own officials. The constitution states that if the government becomes out of hand, the people have the right to overthrow it. The wrong things are illegal and wrong things legal- and freedom is a dream of the past. Viva la revolution! It is also important to note however, that some parts of the government are more to blame than others. The average American is also highly irrational too so a revolution needs to be planned very thouroughly.

History has shown over and over again that anything is possible... From Liberals to Conservative to Libertarians... from Democrats to Republicans to Independents... tensions are definitely rising and building up. (Revolutions take years to develop, and once they are moving full steam ahead, nothing can really stop them... 'look at the Arab Spring for reference'.) Now if it happens its not going to be over our little social differences but instead over the common cause found at the core of American belief - Freedom and Liberty. Common issues of concern include but are not limited to; the NSA domestic spying program, Presidential expansion of powers (Bush and Obama), Congressional gridlock, Congressional Corruption through wealthy interest groups. Our continuously growing national debt. and spending, our current intervention foreign policy (wars) and our continuously growing Income taxes of both the rich and poor. 90% across the political spectrum agree on one thing; our liberties and freedoms are rapidly fading and the Federal gov't authority is growing. If anything would start a revolt, this would be the issue (Liberty & Freedom). I predict the main players would be: our state Militias, Veterans, The Tea-Party, The Libertarians & The Occupy Wall Street movement all coming together in the millions. Unfortunately (and highly likely) if the government turned violent on the people, guerrilla warfare would likely be used by the people as was done in the Revolutionary war. Now let me be clear, I'm condoning such an action to take place, but my personal opinion from my studies is that one will happen eventually one way or another at the rate tensions are going! One thing is for sure, Congress has a 10% approval rating and Obama has a 30 something percent approval rating so people are not happy with their government!

Before you go making plans, think about some other options such as, a revolution of the VOTERS where all the voters dump all who are in and not vote the standard Dem or Rep. Also, letters to congressmen in LARGE numbers may be a better way. Legal demonstrations would be a good thing but LOOK at this nation's military. You are NOT going to over throw this government with a few AK-47's. LEGAL, trust me on this one ,LEGAL revolution by VOTE is the ONLY WAY I and many many other Americans are going to join in. This country has ways to deal with these unpleasant situations but it takes time, that's all. LEGAL, NON-VIOLENT time consuming but do-able means.

YES! But do it with our wallets!
Money is king so every American should BUY AMERICAN.
I gladly pay more for American made than for some cheap Chinese/Mexican/Taiwan/India/Japan/Thailand/Pakistan/Afghanistan, etc. made product all the time.
Think about it: Most of our products are imported, our service sector is being outsourced to some poor slob in a third world country getting paid 50 cents a day, our farm labor is filled with illegals, etc. Tell me, what will 300 million Americans do for a living in 30 years if we can't sustain our own economy? We'd be so screwed if China and other countries just decided not to supply to us anymore.

A big NO. We're still the greatest country in the
whole world. This type of government has worked
for years and years and is still the best type with
checks and balances. Will we have controversy?
We always will because different people think
differently (Liberals think one way - Conservatives
think another). So, maybe it's good that the country
is run by one kind and in a few years it changes.
So, we don't need any revolution of any kind.
God Bless America.

Revolutions are pointless. You just end up back where you started within a couple of years. Take France for example. They overthrew the autocratic monarchy, then Robespierre came along and was even worse, so the people opted for Napoleon - who promptly declared himself emperor. Hence why they're called REvolutions.

No.
There are plenty of jackasses who would love to wage war with us in other parts of the globe.
Personally, I don't want any more enemies.
Truth be told, I would much prefer that we quit some of the wars we're already in and make peace there instead of begin new wars on our own soil (or anybody else's)

I think that there are some very smart and powerful people finally investigating the havoc that has been wreaked since BushCo came to town. Had November 2006 gone another way, I shudder to imagine where we would be now.

One of our forefathers predicted a bloody revolution every 30 years to be reasonable. We are a little overdue.
But, as long as Gen X has affordable Ipods, cell phones, and nikes, nothing much is going to happen to upset the status quo.

I thought we were already in the midst of one, with the illegal alien/immigration issue and the war in Iraq. Isn't this war against the American middle class?
