I am trying to understand a medical procedure.

My friend recently broke his lower leg after falling from a train and was immediately taken to a rural small clinic nearby.

When I reached there after about 1/2 hour of the incident he was not writing in pain, but I was told that when he was brought there he was shrieking. His outer wounds were minimal and were dressed. But he would shriek if anyone touched his leg.

The nurse gave him a butt shot of pain killer 15 minutes after I reached there.

I now wonder if the nurse had given one shot of pain killer earlier (as soon as he arrived), because otherwise how come my friend was not writhing in pain. But his pants were still on and the belt was tight when I reached there (which had to be opened to give the shot), so it seems he had not been given that shot earlier.

What is the normal practise in India for giving first aid to fracture victims?

Do you think he would have received the shot earlier too? and his belt tightened back on?

Is it just me or is it a complete disrespect for others who are minding there own buisness. Why can't you just let people believe the way they want to believe, and leave them alone. There is no way anyone is going to come to god because some weirdo walks up to you on the street with a bible. Unless they are doing it for attention, what is the point? Oh and BTW you aren't going to convert any atheists, so why try? We leave you alone?????

This is a little embarassing, but my husband is working out of town, and all i can think about is him coming home and me doing him a "Favor". I want to text him a message letting him know that im looking forward to that, but i want to say it in a sexy way that will turn him on, and maybe even surprise him a little.

Are you okay with the increase of governmental intrusion into your life, "for your safety"? Take for example the backscatter machine being pioneered at Pheonix Sky Harbor airport. That machine essentially takes nude photos that are remarkably clear, regardless of how much clothing it has to penetrate. I know, I know. Please don't throw in the "but they adjusted the machine so that the machine operator doesn't see any private parts." Give me a break! So, is that okay with you? And that is just one example.

Does anyone else out there think she is a little to cheap with her tipping? How about ordering water with a meal? To me, it just screams CHEAPSKATE!!!! Just wondering if anyone else feels the same. At the part where Chet is eating the 96'er steak, and Roman says to the chef, well I think he's done. And the chef says, he's not done. Roman replies, whaddya mean he's not done, all that's left on there is gristle and fat!. And the chef makes a motion with his face, stating that Chet will win when he has eaten EVERYTHING off the plate, including the gristle and fat.

And after the chef makes that motion with his face, Roman says, can you get us some hats for the kids? Anyway, the question is, did Chet eat the gristle and fat or not? Or was it just assumed that he did?
