This should not offend of Jewish person, if they really know there Judaism they will agree.

Even Adam and Eve were not Jewish. If you read the Old Testament. There were nothing but pagan nations on the Earth. God choose a people that did not have a home land or had any culture at all. If you recall he choose Abraham to start a new people, a new nation. Abraham was the First Jew, but not by blood, but called by God. He was not a originally a Jew. Abraham was from the city of Ur, land of the Chaldeans.
God called Abraham (than Abram) and told him to leave his homeland and follow him, and he will give him a new family and land of promise. That was his covenant that began a new people of God.

What are your thoughts on this?

I've never had orange chicken before, so I'm not sure what the taste is supposed to be like. I found this recipe in Betty Crocker and it sounds good - I like lemon chicken, so I'm hoping to like this. It calls for 3oz. of thawed orange juice concentrate mixed with an egg and 2 tbsp. soy sauce. The chicken is dipped in this mixture, then coated with a bread crumb and spice mix. I'm unsure about the soy sauce + oj concentrate. I tried a teriaki marinade that consisted of soy sauce and apple juice (along with vinegar and ginger). It was ok but I wasn't really into the strange mix of the flavors. Can I tweak the recipe and add less soy sauce, or will it not make much difference in the scheme of things? 3oz. (1/4 of a frozen can) oj concentrate isn't much, but I figure being concentrate, it may overpower the soy sauce anyway. What do you think? Does this sound like it will turn out well, or do you have any suggestions on how I can make it better?

How long do you date someone before you start getting them involved with your kids? My boys are little (31/2 & 1 1/2) and my boyfriend is a bachelor who has very little exposure to small kids. How do I bring them together? And at what point do I start to get annoyed that he hasn't made the effort to get to know them? There dad is a part of their lives, sees them every weekend and one weekday and my boyfriend and I have been together for 3 months now.

their enemies?

For instance, if the Iranian "savages" had decided to torture those British sailors (their enemies) would they have had every right to do that?

The Hidden Gem

A beautiful piece of art

Just sitting in the dark.

Underneath all that surrounds

Known only to those who have seen it

Even then it is not found,

A gem waiting to be found

By a lucky passer by,

That will be the day

That they will be the luckiest around,

No one has ever found it

Who knows if it will be,

Will time cover it up

Or just blow all the debris away?

Will the finder be so naïve

As to just throw this gem away?

Or will they cherish it forever?

And never let it go.

Iran's arming Gaza and southern lebanon to the teeth, I don't think giving them a 3rd front is very wise... Sorry to ask this in the travel section but it seems to be completely politicized these days. Just wondered what Israelis thought about this.

Why does the evangelical church say there are no contradictions in the Bible when they are plainly there for anyone to see? (These are too numerous even to list a representative sample here. There are many books and monographs on this topic in the skeptical literature.1)

The people of this country have been killing each other for thousands of years. Fighting a "holy war" since the begining of time. They don't hesitate to kill the people that want to help or there own people with a suicide bomb. So what are we waiting for? Lets drop a couple MOAB (Mother of all Bombs) on them and help them finish what they already want. To be dead. This is bull that our brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, moms, and dads are dieing for a group of people that were already killing themselves.

I currently have the standard box with 1 multiroom (bedroom). I rang them up to upgrade the main standard in the living room to a Sky+ and keep the standard in the bedroom. They said it's £99 for the box and I paid over the phone and they are coming Saturday to install it. I just had a letter with the costs that I have to pay the enginner on the day:

* Brackets to heighten dish position (incl labour) - £29.99
* Patio/pole mount for garden installation (incl labour) - £29.99
* Coaxical cable from dish to sky box (if over 20 metres) - £0.50 per metre
* Telephone cable from Sky box to telephone socket (if over 10 metres) - £0.50 per metre
* TV link with remote eye (incl labour) - £85.00
* Straps to attach dish to chimmey (incl labour) - £39.99

Where the hell did all this come from?

Three weeks ago, my husband told me he didn't love me, never has and only married me 13 years ago because he was afraid I'd hurt myself if he didn't. Two weeks ago, he went to a concert with a "friend" and didn't come home unitl 6:30 AM. He told me he spent the night at her house, and was in love with her. Then he told me that they planned to move into her house together, but wanted a week to be sure it would work. I went to visit family for a week. When I returned, he wasn't home. We have a business together. He wants me to continue to run the business. I am so heart sick, and have been considering filing an alienation of affection suit against his girlfriend. Would you?
She has been a client of the business for 5 years. I am 9 years older than my husband, the girlfriend is 9 years younger....making her 18 years younger than I am. I don't want this situation to change me into someone that I'm not. Right now, I am just sad and looking for advice. Can anyone help?
