how can i calculate the height of triangle if i have the base is 8(assume that this is statistic)

I presume that you want a height so that the total area is one, right?

For a triangle: A=b*h/2
set A=1, b=8 and solve for h.

A = 0.5 bh = 4h

h = A/4
