We just came back from Maui and there is some traditional and modern Hawaiian music. It would fit the setting but it's not the kind of music I could party to.

I would suggest the movie cocktails soundtrack for beach music or for tiki music maybe the lion king soundtrack if you remember back that far... If I recall correctly there where 2 soundtracks made for the lion king and the 2nd soundtrack is very pleasing by island/exotic sounding.
