What are we waiting for in Iraq and Afghanistan?

The people of this country have been killing each other for thousands of years. Fighting a "holy war" since the begining of time. They don't hesitate to kill the people that want to help or there own people with a suicide bomb. So what are we waiting for? Lets drop a couple MOAB (Mother of all Bombs) on them and help them finish what they already want. To be dead. This is bull that our brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, moms, and dads are dieing for a group of people that were already killing themselves.

The U.S. is waiting for June 2007. That date was given by the Iraqi president on when the Iraqi police and military would be able to take care of themselves.

As for Afghanistan, that might be an unlimited war or at least last as long as the U.S. (including the colonies) vs the Native Americans which took over 100 years.

America is waiting for Iraq to build it Government, Army and police forces up. If America pulls out of Iraq before this happens then we will just have to go back again when Iran or Syria invade its weaker neighbor. The same thing happened in Korea after the end of World War 2. Korea actually belonged to Japan before World War 2. After the war Korea was broken up into what is now North and South Korea. The Russians and Chinese were charged with helping North Korea while the Allied nations were charged with helping South Korea. America pulled its troops out of South Korea before their military was strong enough to defend itself. North Korea noticed this contacted the Russians and Chinese about it because they wanted to extend their borders. Both Russia and China went along with the Idea and that was the start of the Korean War.

I think Bush thinks he is God; deciding who who and how innocent lives should end, so I'll have to say he is waiting on more loss of innocent lives.

But seriously, don't you think something ought to be done? Afterall, there are innocent men women and children living in those countries.
