in 15 years never received a ticket....today i received a ticket for supposedly going 16 miles over the speed limit. when i returned home to inspect the ticket, i noticed the officer incorrectly wrote the wrong month (he wrote march instead of april). i am responsibile within 10 days the date of the ticket. according to the ticket's date, i am already 20 days past due. i called the station and was given a "don't worry about it" response. my wife believes that because of the error, as a legal document it should be voided and thrown out. i am thinking of showing up to court and explaining this. do i have a good argument?

I currently think we should not have started a war with Iraq, but I am open minded to facts and logical arguments. Can you change my mind?
My main reason for opposing the war is that I think war must be only a last resort when there are absolutely no other options. Was that the case here?

I just watched 'Back to the Future'. I saw Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) travel back to 1955, and everything shown from that year was really historically accurate! That Clock Tower really exists.

When Marty wakes up in 1955 in his young mother's bed, she calls him Calvin Klein. Calvin Klein has really existed!

The main charactre is named Marty, he travels back to 1955. In 1955 the movie 'Marty' won the Oscar for best picture. Which means the prophecy came true.

I mean, if some historical events are true, the whole story must be true, right?

Howdy I am taking the wife and two toddlers to San Antonio late May for 4-5 day vacation and have a few questions:

1) Weather... hot/humid/rain? what clothes to bring? do we need mosquito repellent?
2) Attractions: besides Riverwalk, anything else nearby?
3) Austin is 1.5hrs away, is it worth visiting?

If I enlist in the Air National Guard and get money from the GI Bill for serving 6 years active, but then in my 3rd year, I decide to transfer or enlist in the Air Force, how does this affect my GI Bill payments from the National Guard?

Do I just stop recieving payments for National Guard and then start recieving payments from Air Force? Do I have to pay back the GI bill from the Guard since I didn't fullfil the complete 6 year agreement? What happens?

I've been feeling ill a lot lately with seemingly random symptoms such as intermittent diarheora, palpitations and chest pains, numbness in my limbs and a habit of falling over (without feeling dizzy or passing out). Also my blood pressure is suddenly very low, every time it has been checked it's been too low, it never used to be. My father died 6 years ago of a rare disease called Amyloidosis, he also had low blood pressure and chest pains and i watched him die slowly and painfully over two years. I've had lots of tests including an MRI but have to wait weeks for the results, meanwhile i'm driving myself mad with what ifs, i'm a very positive person normally and tend to worry about things if and when they happen but this has got me worried as i don't know of anything else these symptons could be attributed to. If anyone does, i'd love to know to help put my mind at rest

Which would you choose?

(Remember.. people/mankind CAN adapt to a warmer planet, hurricanes and rising sea levels but cannot adapt to the guillotine )

Maggie waited15 months for him to get divorced. Finally he said he'd move in with her but he feared she wouldn't be able to move back with him because the ex would stop her in court. He said that since he wasn't sure she could move, he would NOT marry or commit to her until she lived in his hometown. What do you think? Is this right? How could Maggie drag her kids 3 hrs to his town when he didn't commit or marry her?
