IF it came down to freedom and preserving the consitution OR choosing to fight global warming by destroying the constitution and free markets world wide.

(Remember.. people/mankind CAN adapt to a warmer planet, hurricanes and rising sea levels but cannot adapt to the guillotine )

The great global warming hoax is the genius of the Leftists to hurt the economy ; cause chaos in the foods and industries ; impose more taxes and when everyone is scratching their head wondering what happened --Communism will be here ..after a swift ride in on the tail of socialism nobody saw coming ! Tyranny with a capitol T . Freedom will be a thing of the past . Wacko environmentalists will push human life off the planet before they loose a tree - so they won't really care ..

Glad I'm not the only one who's figured this out -- every initiative I've ever heard for solving global warming has involved massively expanded government and massively contracted liberty. I'm going for freedom all the way; the planet will survive, just wait and see.

That's easy. I would choose Freedom and free markets any day. If markets were really free, and people had more freedom, they can choose environmentally sound companies over heavy polluters. Currently, because of Government subsidies on oil companies and automobile companies, they are better off. Minus these subsidies, these companies will have to compete with green industries on equal terms. And the market will choose the winners.

I would choose to preserve the Constitution, because global warming as an Armageddon event is a sham.

Considering that 30 years ago, all the hot-shot scientists were convinced that the earth was cooling, I can't justify legislation based on the myth of global warming.
So, to answer your question - I'm gonna have to go with preserving the constitution!

You bring up an excellent point!
Libs are quick to yell "The government is infringing on my personal rights!" when it comes to such things as the Patriot Act, etc. But then they turn around and advocate infringing on our rights when it comes to global warming and banning everything from what we drive to incandescent light bulbs to barbecuing.

there is no basis for what you are saying.. that will never be the case.. just look at Europe.. in the past 10 years their economy has risen by 26% and their carbon output has declined by 7%. Capitalism can DRIVE the fight actually.. new technologies.. new systems.. new jobs.. it could be a very interesting and profitable time!

well first you have to belive that there really is something mankind can do to stop global warming. if the sun is heating up, which it seems to be, unless we get some serious Ice packs for it. nothings gonna change.
