I just took my TB shot today, and I have this small red dot now...is that normal? Its not hard or anything, and its not that big. Is this something to be worried about?

The redness spreads about 2-3 mm.

not to worry, that is not uncommon, you worry if the red dot gets large like an inch or more and it does so after 48 hours.

HAve you had your site checked yet? Some people do get a small redness upon having their TB test. If you are concerned have a health nurse check it for you. Without seeing it, it would be hard to say.

I believe it is fine until it reaches 5mm...and even though you may have a "positive" TB skin test it just means that at some point in your life you have been exposed to TB and you probably don't have it....hope this helps!
