A dermatologist's office mentioned over the phone that the dermatologist usually likes to give a 70% glycolic peel before doing the tca peel. I was wondering if that is the usual since I'd read that there is an at-home skin prepping for about a month with glycolic products. Just wondering if is necessary for the peel to get the utmost results or if it is to add more money to the dr's bank. Thank you!

I am a senior high school student that just got accepted in UCLA i filled out my aplicaion by choosing Biochemistry as my major. As i am hearing from around and do research on internet i have filled out with fear! please help me let me know if i should change my major ! i have only two weeks left! After dozens of very expensive tests and weeks of hospitalization, the rich old man was told he had only 24 hours to live.

He immediately called his doctor and his lawyer to his room. He asked the doctor to stand by one side of his bed and his lawyer to stand by the other.

I'm not even sure the IRS cares about such a small amount, but here goes:

I received 48 shares of stock over the space of about 6 months in 2000/2001 from my company (not on an ESPP, as a bonus). These shares sat there until 10/2005, when the company went through an 8:1 reverse split -- then I had 6 shares.

In 03/2006, the company was bought out and I received a few bucks for the shares. Now I have to report it. They want a cost basis. Here is what I can figure out:

* 21 shares given to me on 10/25/00 -- I have no idea what the value was, but my statement for the end of that month prices the shares at $27.13

* 27 shares given to me on 04/24/01 -- again, not sure of the value on that day, but the statement for the end of that month values the shares at 15.68

Averaging the shares out leaves me with a price of 21.41 -- my question is, do I use this price as the cost basis, or am I supposed to multiply it by 6 (my reverse split share total) and use *that* number?

For school, I am writting a short story. It starts out in the present where an older lady is cleaning her attic and finds her diary. I then italizise and write whats in the diary, making up the majority of the story. At the end i switch to present time to wrap the story up. For the story I need to say what setting is in both time and place. My question is, is the setting where she finds the diary, or is it the setting of the diary?

Ok so today i got a tank. Its just a 30litre (How many gallons?) with an airpump. I already have to goldfish in a fishbowl, will transfer them over a few weeks. But except those 2, what other fish could i keep in that tank with them? So that i have a few ideas some day when i buy new fish for the tank.(How many and of what type?) I run a business from home on part time basis. am wondering if i can include expenses i did not deduct for 2003 2004 and 2005?

alternatively how else would i be able to make those deductions form those years now? surely the IRS must have a provision for this.

P/S
BTW i just happened to come across the receipts from those years.
