A dermatologist's office mentioned over the phone that the dermatologist usually likes to give a 70% glycolic peel before doing the tca peel. I was wondering if that is the usual since I'd read that there is an at-home skin prepping for about a month with glycolic products. Just wondering if is necessary for the peel to get the utmost results or if it is to add more money to the dr's bank. Thank you!

I have skin discoloration that may really be helped by such a skin peel. Any information or input is so appreciated.
