I guess it would be considered that. I found out that she talks to her teacher friends about me alot, whether it be bad or good. She's also sadistic about giving me papers to grade by slamming them down in front of me, then smiling about it. Why does she act like this?

Ignore her. High school is an odd time, but it is over soon enough. Don't let her get to you, don't give her any 'energy' or leverage.

Be nice to her, and ignore her. Living well is the best revenge!

This sounds like perception instead of reality. It is very likely that your teacher may just seem to be "slamming" your paper down when she gives it to you. When she smiles that could be her natural reaction to a student making eye contact.

As for talking to her teacher friends about you good or bad, this is probably more common than you think. If you do something well it is likely she would want to brag to other teachers about you. If you perform poorly on something she would then want to blow off steam and other teachers are going to be more understanding.

Ask one of your friends who is in the same class to watch when the teacher returns papers. Don't tell them what you think the teacher does just ask them to describe what they see. You may be surprised.

I'm a teacher and we do talk about our students bad and good. I wonder by what you said if your her student aid if so she may just be demanding and thinks your job is to help her. If not and she was nicer before maybe someone told her you were bad mouthing her and know her feelings are hurt. I think talking to her would be a great idea but if you don't feel comfortable with that find another teacher to talk to and see if they can help. I have helped students with issues dealing with other teachers before and it can help!
