I usually skim through the news headlines everyday and I came across this story today.

(hopefully the link works if not it's about the amount of weight a pregnant mother gains affects weither or not the child will be overweight as a toddler. The study says mothers should gain at the low side of the recommended amount of weight.)

I really feel as a society we over analize everything way to much. How do we know that the kids are just not eating healthy. Personally I gained 60+ pounds with my first child and he is a very healthly 3yr old. Although he has always measured in the 95% for both height and weight he is not overweight. I personally need a lot more proof before I will believe anything this study says. What are your thoughts?

We purchased a home Jan 2006 because of relocation w/ a job. The move was 850+ miles. Can I deduct things like the interest from (22 days), county property tax and school taxes (included in the closing costs - because this was new construction), attorney's fees, etc. Please help.

being passive aggressive or found a glitch in our marriage to avoid me? He's going this weekend to a gaming dinner (where they serve fresh hunted meat).

I find these extremely repulsive. He went about a month ago, and after it, he spent the weekend in the guest room.

The first time, his friend invited him last minute ... past 2 times, he went out of his way searching for one and is driving 2 hours away to go to it.

Last time, I requested that we do not go near each other for a couple of days until all the "meat" has been processed throughout his system.

I mean, I can't imagine kissing him after that, or being nearby when any bodily functions erupt ... I had him to use the guest bedroom and bathroom too.

I am a vegetarian, AND DON'T MIND WHEN HE EATS REGULAR MEAT, but it's this "game" meat that really truly grosses me out about this situation.

I gave him no problem about going last time, and he honored my request above, so is he trying to avoid me for a weekend again?

My MIL is having an Easter Egg hunt for my kids at her house in her yard. My son is 2 yrs and developmentally delayed and so I don't want to put the traditional pocket change in the eggs! Alot of the candies out there are choking hazards. Now I'm trying to figure out what would be appropriate to stuff the eggs with. Any ideas?

I'm very close to making my first car purchase but I"m still deciding on should I buy or lease. For the most part I know that through a lease that there are mile restrictions and you can't customize the car which are things that I can adjust to. Honestly I'm leaning more towards leasing because most people don't really keep their cars these days and trade them in after a couple of years anyway. With that said what are the the major pros and cons that someone should know before entering into a lease.

Someone that I know used my name on a credit card without my permission. I know this person, and don't want to press charges.
