I am on zoloft but it's so expensive. I was wondering if Paxil was similar... and since it's on wal-mart's price list for 3 dollars, I wondered if anyone has done this switch.

Switching from one prescription medication to another is something you would need to consult with your Dr. on. Will your specific problem be addressed equally by a different drug? And if so, What drug would that be, and what dosage? Your psychiatrist is the expert here. Ask.

By the way, You may not be entirely aware. A couple of months ago Zoloft's exclusive patent has expired. The short way to put it, is that just recently Zoloft's price has made the drop in price from about $125 a month down to a much much more reasonable price, something small enough that many more people who need it, can actually purchase. Ask your Dr. or pharmacist about it.
