Author Paul Rafford, Jr. joined Pan Am in 1940 as a Flight Radio Officer. During his early days with Pan Am, he met and interviewed the men who were stationed around the world on Amelia Earhart's last flight.

This book is a compilation of his 65 years of Earhart interviews, analysis of transmissions, and extensive testing of her radio, antennas, & aircraft.

Amelia Earhart flew under the radio net -- but then vanished forever.
