i recently acquired some fish from moving room mates. there are 7 neon tetras, 2 comets, and 5 baby guppies (about a month old). my own creatures are a male beta and a female african dwarf frog. can any of these fish be tank mates?

*note: i'd originally put the beta in the tank with the comets and tetras as i'd read they could be tank mates with non-aggresive fish (& no other male beta). when i did this he promptly attacked and killed a tetra. i'm not sure if this was a random act of violence due to the aggrivation of moving him or if his personal preferance is just too anal to have tank friends. (and i haven't had time to re-test his compatibility by placing him in the tank in a baggie to see his reaction.)
Any fish advice on this situation would be great as i'm feeling a little overwhelmed!
Thanks!

If you had an aquaintance who was seeing someone who'd been abusive in the distant past(like 10 years ago), would you try to warn them?

Dude just hooked up with this woman, I used to live with her. She's abusive, selfish, lazy, and just doesn't think straight. I'm in a healthy, loving relationship, and I really don't bear any grudge toward her, but I feel like I need to warn this guy, who is, for now, extremely happy to be with her (starting off same as the guy who's life she ruined 10 years ago).
Should I warn him and if so, how?

I can't help but to be a little jealous of some single people I know who have no children. Please do not get the wrong idea I adore my children and the thought of not having them literally makes me cry, I just feel sometimes I am not good enough 4 them or that I am failing in all areas. Am I just being a "crybaby" or does any 1 else feel this way. I am just over whelmed sometimes.. I feel awful because it's not their fault( and 4 the record I would never let my babies know I feel this way)

I mean they both have - so called holy languages.
- women in veils
- prayer beards for repititious prayers
- perform pilgramiges
- have fasting months (lent for Cathholics)
- repititious liturgy
- they both believe they can pray for people to get out of hell
- They both fought in the crusades (against each other)
- persecute people who turn from their religion ( Catholics don't do this anymore but who can forget the inquisitions)
- Muslims don't bow to idols but can bowing to a house and kissing a stone (Mecca) be called idolatry?

The similarities are pretty amazing when you look closely.

This would enable closer monitoring of human trafficking, weed out the vermin and enable safer conditions, advocacy and healthcare provisions for the service providers. Why would britain have any problem with legalising this, as wouldn't everyone benefit ? It works elsewhere.

What does slight, moderate and high risk for severe weather mean? I mean, I know basically what it means but I heard somebody saying moderate risk is like it's going to happen for sure... How does this work in percentages? I know nobody knows if we're getting a tornado, where and at what time, but I would like to know if moderate risk is bad... We have a moderate risk in the midwest for today and I just would like to know... Thanks!

Hillary Clinton is currently the most qualified person in the United States to serve as president. It will be a great day for the US when she is elected.

Believe me, it will be a landslide. She will bury her competition. Many conservatives won't admit it it, but most of them admire Hillary Clinton.

It's not that you aren't welcome, you are. But I'm curious as to why so many Atheists hang out here? Are you trying to teach that believers are delusional, or what? And if so, why does it matter to you? If there is no God, then what does it hurt if someone believes or doesn't believe? If we're wrong, what have we lost? And what do you have to offer us that is better? A lack of any hope for something better than this world has to offer?

Unfortunately not a joke, the bone was the size of 2-3 grains of uncooked rice. When manager was told,"We don't have bone in our hamburgers." Manager was shone the piece of bone and dismissed the customer, "Oh that's grissle." Recently got temporary crowns until the actual ones are put in place. Bit down on the bone fragment. Now the person has worse pain until returning to the dentist. Any legitimate suggestions please!
