This would enable closer monitoring of human trafficking,weed out the vermin and enable safer conditions,advocacy and healthcare provisions for the service providers. Why would britain have any problem with legalising this, as wouldn't everyone benefit ? It works elsewhere.

From the standpoint of many yes.

However, the decision must fit the culture and community. If it were to pass legislation, against the will of the majority, it would not be good for your country.

If enough people valued this new freedom or did not care, it would be good for the reasons you have stated.
