I was on newegg looking for hard drives and it seems that so many of them either arrive dead or die soon after being purchased. Is this normal for so many hard drives to die like that or is it Newegg's fault? Thanks.

If the biblical account of a worldwide flood is true we would expect to find a layer of stratification dating around 4,000 years old containing the fossils of every living thing recorded from the time, along with human beings. According to some of you out there we would find human and dinosaur.. sorry, "dragon" bones within this layer together.

Nowhere in the world is this found. As a matter of fact, what IS found is different kinds (to use a common nomenclature) of animals existing independantly on different layers which all date independantly of one another in order from the top most layers being newer, and the lower ones older. Much older in fact, showing us that the earth itself, in fact LIFE on earth existing far longer than the supposed 10K year life of the earth.

The bible is wrong. Just like it was about the earth being flat and existing at the center of the universe with the moon AND sun orbiting around it.

Am I a bad adult because I do not have a close relationship with my parents and I do not want to spent any time with them at all. Whenever I am with them I always have conflicts, problems and drama that comes up. I do not like these things in my life and that is why I choose to spend as little time as I can get away with without them bothering me too much.

It has been implied that I am a bad young adult because OTHER young adults (like myself) LIKE their parents and want to spend time with them and tell them a lot of what is going on in their life. So, because I do not do these things does that make me a bad person?

....take a bullet in the brain than flirt with another woman's man. I don't care WHAT the situation is, there's NEVER a good reason for that.
And I'd much rather be admired for my brains than my booty.....

I just got a cut-off notice from my electrice company for $400. They recommended I go to churches, DHS, etc. I have done those, but no help was to be found. I will be without lights by Monday. Even saying I had a 4 and 7 year old grandchild to raise did not even effect them. What am I to do?

I was just with my mom at the beach and we took some pictures on her cell phone. The pictures came out fine on her phone then when we sent them to my e-mail they were dark and we couldn't even see faces. I need to find a SIMPLE way to figure out taxes if I am self-employeed. For federal, state & SSI. Is it too much to ask to find a place that just gives you the formula's and definations for all three? I know my local tax is a flat rate % so I'm not concerned about that. I got more confussed than ever when I "googled" self employment. Thanks for whatever help you can give. All I want to do is babysit for a friend & do some freelance writing so I need to a program for my taxes.

As you well know, the attraction that women have over men from sexual attraction and attention of men is a fact of society. If for some reason men stopped being attracted to women for sex, would they basically become second class citizens?? I suspect this is the case, because on whole, women lag men in the vast majority of roles, in almost every society. I know this may be unsettling, but are women compromised without their power of sexual attraction?

I have driven stick shift cars all my life. I recently bought a automatic shift 07 Camry. I am having hard time understanding the gas paddling. If I keep my feet on the gas paddle for long time, the RPM reaches 5000, which is too high. What is the exact technique to drive a auto shift car. With a stick shift the control is in your hand to change the gear. With the auto I am at the mercy of RPM to shift or I need to adjust my feet pressure on the paddle for the RPM to be at 2000 or min (ideal). Please help.
