14 yr old daughter is having hallucinations that do not seem to match anything except street drug use, but (tested!) not using drugs. describes as individual people in large groups dissappearing, or fingers on hand dissappearing - ('I can only see dad's mustache and glasses'). have found some migraine-aura based art to ask her if representative.
need more images to work with - more ideas? her fadeouts seem to focus on people - objects they are holding can seem to float in the air. she is being treated now with Geodon, 3 weeks, reports 40% improvement in symptoms. hallucinations associated closely with severe depression - bipolar and epilepsy in separate close family members. wits end! she has a history of cluster-migraines since age 6. need definitive way to clearly descrie the visual halucination for the psychiatrist, neurologist and therapist to work with. but don't want to imprint her with ideas! thought some pictures would help.

I'm working on this project and I need to know the answer to this question. I am aware that in the religion of Islam, a woman is not considered pregnant during the first 40 days, which is one of the reason they support stem cell research. I would like to know why they think this way. Is it something in their religion that says something about pregnancy? I really need to know. Can anyone help me? Why do Muslims not consider a woman pregnant during first 40 days of pregnancy?

I am a 15 year old running back/wide receiver on my high school football team, and on an under-17 travel team. My coaches say I am talented enough to get some sort of scholarship from a D-2 or possibly a D-1 school, but that I need to work on my athletic testing scores(bench, vertical, 40m) to get noticed by Universities. I am caucasian, 5,11.5 ft, and 156ibs. My vertical and 40m times are pretty good, but I lack stamina and strength. Do I need to improve my speed/agility/power, or are muscular strength and endurance important to my positions?

And do Recruiters actually test athletes on the 40m,bench press, etc, or do they just look at your playing ability?

...a template. I'm noticing various worksheets that he has given to me with MY copies of the returns over the years. Is this something that I have to provide to IRS with my 2006 return, or did he just provide those for me and NOT file them with my returns?

Are they basically afraid of an intelligent conversation? Are they basically afraid that their "faith based" (I.e., "don't bother me with logic in religion, my mind is made up.) religion might have a hole or two that would make them doubters, and questioners???

she was not Catholic. I'm not Catholic either but I am a Christian. I don't know where my grandma ever got it and she died in 1984. What should I do with it? Should I keep it or give it to someone who is Catholic?? Wouldn't it be inproper for me to display it anywhere in my house since I'm not Catholic? Should I donate it to a church? These may sound like dumb questions but I've been wondering about this for years now. Thanks.

I'm a young teen, and I was/am being raised Christian Catholic. I dread and hate going to church. It's mind-blowingly BORING and I gain nothing from it. My parents force me to go, and my father especially gets into a violent tizzy if I try to get out of it (my mom doesn't like it much either, but she's not about to get me out of it). I can play hooky maybe once a month, but other than that, I have no say whatsoever. Church is supposed to help me connect with my religion, right? Yeah, well, recently I've been hating the whole religious scene more and more every time I go. My dad, the one who forces me to go, is the biggest hypocrite I know, but I won't get into that.

Don't get me wrong, I love and believe in God and Jesus and the whole deal. But I do not believe that I should have to go to church (which, like I said, makes me MISERABLE) to prove that I do or be a good little Catholic girl.

Any ideas on how to talk to my close-minded, volatile father/just get out of it somehow?

If I suggest a new category for the drinks game?

Open to people of all persuasions, I think we need a drink every time someone proposes a question or issues a rant that takes the formulaic line
"All X are Y", "Why are all X, Y?" "Why do all X,Y?"
... and minor variations.
("Do all X, Y?" might escape censure as a genuine question.)

I suggest that no faith, belief, political persuasion, (anything much?) comes so monolithic as to make the phrasing a useful structure for a question, and that it's often a pointer to ignorance, laziness or caricature in the mind of a proposer.

Monolithicism? "XRY's"?
Whatever it is, could it do with some gentle ridicule?

The quote is "You can live with a man for a year, eat the same food and talk of many things. But you will never really know him until -" This is all I remeber, I think that the end part is something violent, fighting or something like that. It is from a movie, so if you know the whole thing or the movie please answer, this is driving me crazy that I can't figure it out. Thanks
