If I suggest a new category for the drinks game?
Open to people of all persuasions, I think we need a drink every time someone proposes a question or issues a rant that takes the formulaic line
"All X are Y", "Why are all X, Y?" "Why do all X,Y?"
... and minor variations.
("Do all X, Y?" might escape censure as a genuine question.)
I suggest that no faith, belief, political persuasion, (anything much?) comes so monolithic as to make the phrasing a useful structure for a question, and that it's often a pointer to ignorance, laziness or caricature in the mind of a proposer.
Monolithicism? "XRY's"?
Whatever it is, could it do with some gentle ridicule?

RM, if you knew the R&S section well, you'd know this *does* belong there. No mis-categorisation.
But I appear to have misjudged the interest of certain regulars who I thought I would pick up with this. It makes sense in context...
