I am a 15 year old running back/wide receiver on my high school football team, and on an under-17 travel team. My coaches say I am talented enough to get some sort of scholarship from a D-2 or possibly a D-1 school, but that I need to work on my athletic testing scores(bench, vertical, 40m) to get noticed by Universities. I am caucasian, 5,11.5 ft, and 156ibs. My vertical and 40m times are pretty good, but I lack stamina and strength. Do I need to improve my speed/agility/power, or are muscular strength and endurance important to my positions?

And do Recruiters actually test athletes on the 40m,bench press, etc, or do they just look at your playing ability?

Do the same you do any other time. You don't want to put too much pressure on yourself.

I'm a junior right now and have been scouted and watched since my sophomore year.

Work your butt HARD during the offseason. Maybe play another sport, maybe wrestle. But the key is to make sure you stay fit, and just keep getting more fit.

Keep lifting weights, running, maybe go to speed training if you already aren't. Those are the only things I can tell you besides just have fun. Go out and keey playing hard. Like I said, don't put too much pressure on yourself.

A running back needs endurance, speed, and strength, and a wide receiver needs endurance, speed, and agility...

speed and agility. You are small so yyou have 2 be fast to outrun cornerbaks and other defenders and not to lose speed in the middle of it
