so the idea cannot be disproven by common sense and logic. can it therefore be deemed as irrefutable?

is this why solipsism and cartesian skepticism cant be disproved?

i met this great guy(or so i thought) 3 week ago when he moved into my condo complex.i would run into him all the time(he lived next door)and he would tell me all about his son, work and all ways asked about my life.i would see this very attractive girl coming and going and just thought she was his gf.one night he asked me over for a movie and "made his move" when i stopped him and asked what his "gf" would think he looked at me like he was confused and said oh her shes just an old friend not my gf.well i believed him but 3 weeks later i found out(not from him) not only was he datting her but left his 1st wife for her 4 mons earlier.so why would he lie to me about her?shes more attractive than i am so why risk losing her over me?i mean i live right next to him i could just tell her what hes been doing behind her back and blow his cover.

Americans used to be the rebels of the world. We were respected because we rebelled against aggression and stuck up for the weak.

Now we've become the same thing we fought against during the revolution.

I really want a Hamster, I really want a pet, thing is I'm in college, I see that the golden hamster is small and so is it's cage, so it wouldn't be that hard to hide in a dorm room, and it wouldn't be that hard to buy a shipping basket to take it home when I need to go home.

I'm looking up info on it and the cost of products cage, food etc. I could most likely get some of the fruit and veggies from my college dining hall.

So should I get one, or should I just get a beta fish?

Tomorrow, I am supposed to see one of my friends and go shopping. She is the same one who has gotten the new "trashy" friends. I have a feeling that she will bail on me to hang with them. I don't want to be left with nothing to do. Should I make other plans now just in case, or should I just wait and see if she will call and actually go shopping with me? I'm just worried that I will be sitting in another day and I've been down lately and I want to have something to do.

NEW YORK - Eighteen-year-old Chen Tsu was waiting on a Brooklyn subway platform after school when four high school classmates approached him and demanded cash. He showed them his empty pockets, but they attacked him anyway, taking turns pummeling his face.

He was scared and injured — bruised and swollen for several days — but hardly surprised.

At his school, Lafayette High in Brooklyn, Chinese immigrant students like him are harassed and bullied so routinely that school officials in June agreed to a Department of Justice consent decree to curb alleged "severe and pervasive harassment directed at Asian-American students by their classmates, but the case is far from isolated.
