i dont know if i should ask out this guy Trey!!! all of my friends (and yes they are trustworthy and they never lie or make fun of me) WOULD make fun of me if i went out with him!!

Why care what your friends think? That's how I use to think, but I'm just like, its not what they think. Its all about you. The people you call friends are not your friends. Friends wouldn't make fun of you or anything. They would be there for you.

if you really like this guy then i say you should go for it. if your friends would make fun of you then maybe they are not your friends after all. a true friend will support your decisions when they know it means a lot to you and they will stick by your side no matter what.

I was once concerned about what people thought but I got over it in college when I started dating a really geeky guy (that I married by the way). Nerdy, smart guys are cool!

well what's more important, developing a relationship with someone you really like, or having to deal with your friends making fun of you. your friends aren't the ones who'd be dating him, it'd be you...and if that's what makes you happy then it's worth it
