I am not all that familiar with the names of the nerds here. Most of the Answerers seem friendly and caring but not very liberal with very useful information. It is very rare to find much written in the 'About Me' column either. What holds the Answerers back? Is this a place where people uninhibitedly talk or isn't it?

been playing hearts on yahoo for over 20 games, yet still have a provisional ranking, though my score is higher than most in the "beginner" card room. I've been playing hearts since I was a kid, but can't get a decent game cause nobody wants to play with a "provisional"

I and few of my friends has been planning on a bachorlette party. However my fiance knows that one of my friend is in charge of preparing the bachorlette party. She's kinda of a trouble maker and wild.

This make my fiance very uncomfort. He told me that he don't care what the traditional say, he doesn't want any other men to touch me in any way. He say he doesn't care if we go watch male stripping, have a night out, or whatever. But no one touch me.

I know he had a really horrible experience in high school when his former close female friend getting sexual assault. He even still get down about it sometime. I believe this is the main reason he doesn't like people he care about to be too comfort around strangers.

I don't know what to do. Should I tell my friend something or not?

Had a crush on someone living in a foreign land. But things didn't work out. Now i desparately want to forget her for life. But the mind keeps remembering her throughout the whole day..keep thinking about what she must be doing, what she must be wearing, etc ? i had in the past emailed her my romantic feelings but she didn't respond..and now am left holding the bucket...I know i need to let go....but the mind keeps.......
is it because i didn't get Closure? if yes, how does one get closure...Please help !!!

my wife and i have been married for less than a year. we've been together for six years. I'd say for the past four years of our relationship our sex life and intimacy has steadily declined to the point of nothing. It's honestly mostly on her end and she says there's alot of things about our relationship she can't get past and that counseling will not fix. She's basically accepted this way of life for us and says she can manage. After a lot of thought and consideration I've decided that I love her enough to make the sacrifice to live that kind of life with her if that is indeed what she is willing to do. While she says she feels lonely and sad and depressed she says she can manage but doesn't want to be unfair to me. She mentions "romance" just not being there but again, its on her end. In a marriage I've always assumed people fall in and out of love all the time but you enjoy those good times and get through the bad. Are there any women that have experienced this?

I have been having problems with my wife for some time now. We fight constantly and I found solace in the arms of a woman I work with. I just found out though that she is pregnant with my child and she is going to keep the baby. What should I do about my job, should I leave? And my wife has no idea yet. I love beef jerky and some days that's all I eat all day.... which makes me constipated and what little does come out runny. So are there pills that I can take with it that will make me regular?????? I can't give up beef jerky/sticks cause they are so good!!!!!!!!!

Toby, a 2-year-old golden retriever, saw his owner choking on a piece of fruit and began jumping up and down on the woman's chest. The dog's owner believes the dog was trying to perform the Heimlich maneuver and saved her life.

Debbie Parkhurst, 45, of Calvert told the Cecil Whig she was eating an apple at her home Friday when a piece lodged in her throat. She attempted to perform the Heimlich maneuver on herself but it didn't work. After she began beating on her chest, she said Toby noticed and got involved.

"The next think I know, Toby's up on his hind feet and he's got his front paws on my shoulders," she recalled. "He pushed me to the ground, and once I was on my back, he began jumping up and down on my chest."

That's when the apple dislodged and Toby started licking her face to keep her from passing out, she said.

"I literally have pawprint-shaped bruises on my chest. I'm still a little hoarse, but otherwise, I'm OK," Parkhurst said.

"The doctor said I probably wouldnt be here without Toby," said Parkhurst, a jewelry artist. "I keep looking at him and saying 'Youre amazing.'"

Well I go to a community college right now and I want to transfer to a univesity to become an art teacher. The only problem I have is that I might want to move away I was thinking about Florida or somewhere warm just a different environment than CT but Im afraid of leaving my family, i feel like they need me and I nedd them. I wonder if this is okay to feel like this and Im 20 years old so I dont know when is the best time to move out from my parents house, they are not kicking me out, but I would like to move out someday. Maybe I should go a university in CT, but im afraid that it will boring and i want to try something new but im scared! lol Help Me PLease

The way I see it, if we are passive in our stance (like Fance, Canada, etc.), that we better get used to the idea of having suicide bombings in the US and in the UK. Unless we make our stance strong by having a continued presence in the middle east and continue to fight the war on terror in THEIR neck of the woods, then we will have to start fighting this war in our own backyard. They (middle eastern countries) hate the West...whether we do anything or not. If we help them, they hate us....if we ignore them, they hate us. The real issue here is that they are jealous of our success as a country. Since we will probably never make them happy, we might as well be safe by managing the issue on THEIR turf and not ours. Therefore, how can people justity us leaving the middle east to manage itself?

have have recently got vista home premium edition and a week later put in a new dual core motherboard it loaded up fine but when i put the drivers from the disc on there it sayed restart computer so i did and now it wont load anything and brings up a screen saying i have a file corrupted and ive tired reputting in my vista disk and it still doesnt work i need some help so someone please help me

Most people are unaware that the meat they eat comes from very unpleasant conditions. Intensively farmed animals live in often squalid conditions (pigs in sowstalls in massive shed requiring workers to wear breathing apparatus to enter), chickens eating other dead decaying chikens in massive unventilated sheds, slaughter houses run by huge unethical companies - immigrant workers exploited, drug use widespread. Massive environmental damage caused by bulk feed lots.
Its kind of scary when you think about the meat industry.
Perhaps going hunting and shooting your own meat is actually a better, cleaner way?
