I am not all that familiar with the names of the nerds here. Most of the Answerers seem friendly and caring but not very liberal with very useful information. It is very rare to find much written in the 'About Me' column either. What holds the Answerers back? Is this a place where people uninhibitedly talk or isn't it?

No, it is not a talk site, go to Yahoo chat for that.It is meant to be a place where decent people can hopefully get decent answers to legitimate questions covering all areas, issues,and current happenings in the world expressing what they believe they know about such matters. Some questions are very ignorant as are the corresponding answers.
I a lot of trivia is asked, but now and then, one will see a legitimate question of intelligent design and substance.

FRIEND,
You can ask any type of question about culture,human morals, politics, religion and about keeping our globe or mother earth safe , about your studies, how to get best out of your time etc etc.
The answerer are there to give you what they know.all may not be experts (that includes me) ,but in this forum you share what you know with others,in that way in that interaction ,perhaps you may get a satisfactory answer,
the best answer does not mean it IS THE BEST ANSWER,some times the answer may be irrelevant to question asked.But patience pays.You get benefited.
MOST OF THE MEMBERS DO NOT WRITE ANYTHING ABOUT THEM.perhaps THEY DO NOT WANT TO EXPOSE THEMSELVES OR THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY THING TO TELL AT PRESENT.

the best question is that springs from heart unsolved by mind
only thoughtful people reply to serious questions majority of answers are time pass and some reactionary and absurd but you have freedom to pick up the right one .Most prefer to be hidden idont know h

Ask anything you are curious about or anything you need an answer to that you don't know, I'm poo with computers so I ask things when I become stuck, I also find people ans what motivates them fascinating, I'm curious about people who do and say things differently to myself. I must confess I use it to vent my spleen on occasion too.
