I was watching the MIss U.S.A. contest on Friday and it seems that all the pretty women on their were white. I am 16 years old and Black. I get teased by older siblings calling me an oreo cookie and and an " uncle tom " because I find white women attractive. Am I wrong in doing so? I mean everywhere I look, all I see is pretty white girls. From my high school, to television (Katie Holmes, Jessica Simpson, Jessica Biel, Lindsay Lohan), to music (Hillary Duff, Britney Spears) and this contest was full of georgeous white women. My brother calls me a sellout and my sister says I am a confused self hater. m I confused? Arent white women real pretty?

What makes it worse is 2 weeks ago, I wrote a sexual fantasy on microsoft word about me and three white chicks (Paris Hilton, Tara Reid, and Britney Spears) and my sister caught it. She says she knows I spank the monkey to white women. She showed the letter to my mom and now I feel ridiculed even more. Is there something wrong with me.

I feel really stupid, but my first grader just brought home some math homework. It's a square with the numbers written in little squares inside it, 1-10 is across the top line, then 1-20 across the second line and so on up to 50. The instructions say, "Color numbers with 9 ones green, color numbers with 0 ones blue, color numbers with 2 tens red." What the heck does this mean? My son says he doesn't know and the teacher won't explain it. On the other page of homework the numbers go from 51 - 100 and the instructions say color numbers with 3 ones red, color numbers with 6 tens blue and color numbers with 0 ones green. Does anyone know what this means? I feel really dumb for not knowing and my son insists the teacher didn't tell him how to do this homework. I'll talk to the teacher tomorrow, but does anyone know how this homework is done?

I've read a few stories of people that were atheists and set out to prove that God doesn't exist. That faith is just a psychological need. But after a few or many years, they found God and become completely convinced that God does exist and is our Creator. So I am wondering if most or some atheists are wanting to believe but just haven't found God yet?

I have 2 young kids aged 2 and 4 I have worked full time since they were tiny babies, they have always been cared for by a private day nursery. (Who are great) but I t has taken me some time and a job move but I have now realised they need me more than I need a job. I have never been able to grasp how people cope on only one income, and not a very good one at that. How will I cope without my wage?

Nearly all the PC guys that I work with claim that, all software issues aside, a computer's hardware gets slower with age. Does the hardware - such as CPU, memory, hard drive - really get slower as the years pass? Obviously due to the laws of nature, everything deteriorates, but will a 3 Ghz CPU eventually start performing more like 2 Ghz; will DDR2-800 RAM slow down to DDR2-667 over time; will my 7200 RPM hard drive start to act more like a 5200 RPM drive in years to come?

"Intellect," even amongst our own species, comes with a "price." That price is the resolve of intelligence above that of emotion or feelings. Would not ANY "superior" GOD, also be one which would "weigh" LOGIC, above emotion or feeling?
Human "weakness," is best catargorized by it's behaviors, so why is it religions view ANY "superior being as one that is just as WEAK in emotion and feelings as any homo-sapien? If God is of Love, it is best exemplified by the acts of Jesus when he was being persecuted. He did NOTHING!, YET, his "murder" has been used as an example of a sacrifical LAMB whose "blood" saves the lazy who will not take responsibility for their own failures. God in heaven loves EVERYONE, including those too ignorant to accept "reality." That includes the UNRIGHTEOUS. What has been "missed" by religion is that "Jesus" best exemplied a NATURE unlike our own, and an INTELLECT we have yet to "understand." So, is it not time to see who God is as SUPERIOR and not one "inferior?"

I recently inherited some neat t-shirts but they are all a size or two too big for me but they are also made out of 100% cotton. Can I shrink them in the wash by washing them in hot water and then drying them on high? Or is there a better way?

first 10-15 mins each day rev counter goes up & down like a yoyo touch the pedal car almost wants to stop or cut out wont move, foot off pedal will slowly coast forward, after 10-15 car drives normal for the rest of the day. can anyone help as to the cause, dont want to take it to a garage to get ripped off,it would be nice to know what it could be. ? ? ?

It's interesting that most of the fundamentalists live inland, away from the coast. I believe this is also true in Europe, although their numbers there are far less.

I just ate leftover Mississippi Delta Nachos.... they are from this Cajun place and they have crab meat, crawfish tails, cheese, red beans, jalapenos and sour cream. They are soggy and cold, but awesome nonetheless!
