I recently inherited some neat t-shirts but they are all a size or two too big for me but they are also made out of 100% cotton. Can I shrink them in the wash by washing them in hot water and then drying them on high? Or is there a better way?

You can safely shrink your t-shirts a size by washing them in hot water and a hot dry temperature. Good Luck !

Well just wash them the normal way and then dry them till they are completely dry and they will shrink slowly and sometimes faster it depends on the material even if it's 100& cotton sometimes it will shrink slowly but it will shrink.

your solution is corect i do it all the time if my dad has a cool shirt and i want it i shrink it up and he goes aw man and then i get (CHA CHING)
