Have a look for the Myers Briggs personality index and an interest inventory assessment. I found them useful from a career planning class I took in college.
Be honest with yourself and your interests. My inventory showed me low on the "social" scale with regard to interest inventory, but all the social questions were about church and sports. I love people, but not in that context.

Do a search for MBTI (Myers-Brigg Type Indicator). There are many online tests you can use.
This is the most common test used for this purpose.

aptitude tests are what you want. I am sure there are some on the internet, but you need to know the test is reliable. I would go to a local testing center of good repute.
