It has now been 3 years since my brother cut off all contact with me. I am now married with two baby boys that he has never seen, wich saddens me so much because he is a fantastic uncle to my neices, I recently emailed him trying to reconcile but he didnt reply, his beef with me is thet a few years ago when i had some friends over, they asked me if they could watch some porn, because i dont have any i went and got some from his room ( not even giving a thought that my brother was gay because it never matterd to me if someone was or wasnt) but when we put it on it was gay porn and it then went around our school that he was gay! I can understand i shouldnt have gone into his bedroom without him there but is this a good reason for him not to speak to me for 3 years? I love him soooooo much we were very close growing up and it nearly brings me to tears every time i think of him and how much i miss him. Should i keep trying or should i just let it be? how would you feel if your sis did this

I like them. I play games with them where I throw bits of cookies from 3 feet away and I count how many they miss catching with their beaks. The best ones manage to get more than 90%.

I hurt my back. The doctor wanted me to take 800mg of Ibuprofen 3x a day...2400mg of Ibuprofen, plus 1000mg of Vicodin a day. I thought that was A LOT. I read to warnings on the Ibuprofen - pretty serious stuff... So I was wondering....would alcohol almost be 'safer' that all of those pills? This is a serious question....I usually do not drink or take any other meds...I was just curious...I know you can get hooked on anything - I am aware of that - but health wise...could alcohol have less serious side effects (without not drinking enough to get drunk)...it seems like alcohol has been around much longer and used as a painkiller...

I got a mini rose plant from home depot.It had a lot of buds on it.I transfered the plant to one of my hanging pots in a area of my patio which gets light from 3-5pm .All of a sudden the buds have started to drop.the leaves look weak. So I worked at a hunting ranch in south texas for a month during my winter break this year and it was high fenced but about 30000 acres. And when the feeder went off (for a ridiculus 15 seconds) the same big bucks would show up at the same feeder everyday at the same time, and would stand there even after i shot a couple does. now that was ridiculus and maybe unethicle! But where ive grown up hunting in Central Texas it seems as the Bucks there are smarter, we have never killed a big mature buck at a feeder. they just wont go! but what it does accomplish is keeping the does coming to the feeder which may have a buck with her that stays back, which gives us at least a chance. to me this is not unethicle, am i wrong? why? and am i spelling ethicle right?

In discussions with Christians, the only "sect" that I don't have many points against is moderate Christianity. The theory is that God used metaphors to the authors of the Bible because they couldn't understand the science we understand now. The only points I can think of are:
1) If God can do anything, why couldn't he make the authors understand and
2) why didn't he just create the world in literally 6 days (one example) so he wouldn't have to dumb it down later?
I'd love to hear any other points that you've come up with.
