Sweet Home is a very good game. However you'll only be albe to play a translated rom unless you're fluent in Japanese. It's awesome because the game is so creepy and the teamwork system works well for an RPG
Metal Gear is a truely a masterpiece even on the NES. The whole stealth idea is really fun, trying to go unseen through enemy ranks is surprisingly fun.
River City Ransom is one of the funnest beat-em-ups you will ever play. Just beat the crap out of people and buy food that beefs you up.
And of course, how can anyone forget about the Mega Man series, all 6 on the NES.

If you mean NFS=Need For Speed, i would say NFS:UG2 and NFS: Carbon. They both have drifting section..
