My mom makes under $25,000 a year. She's a single mother, trying to support my brother and I. My parents are divorced and my dad doesn't pay child support. I was accepted to an excellent university that costs $25,000/yr. I have a Pell grant from the federal government, a nice scholarship from a local organization, and some merit aid. Problem is, I've had a rough first year and my merit aid may run out because I'm ending this semester which under a 3.0 GPA (2.7).

I feel like I'm drowning. Next year I may be an RA, which will eliminate housing- but I'm still short nearly 8k and to the extent I can go with federal loans. My mom says it'd be a good idea if I claim myself next year as a legal independent on our tax return. Is this a good idea? Is there anyone out there with a similar background? How am I going to survive the next 3 years and overcome the burden of poverty?

Many of Filipinas here in the Philippines or even abroad are marrying foreigners and likewise, a lot of foreigners (of which are mostly Americans) love having a Filipina for a wife. (though by statistics, Filipinas marry Americans because they would want to go somewhere else other than their country itself and to get out of poverty- in short, to be financially stable with their American husbands and get rich abroad, and so far, almost all that the Americans choose are far beyond their ideal and dream girls). The question: Why??? (Can they just not stay here in the Philippines and help our economy rather???)

Just starting my research, but I want a unit that I can mostly use on my motorcycle so it should be waterproof. I will need it to be preloaded with street level maps or be capable of loading them. I'd also like to occasionally take it hiking so it should be lightweight and have a battery.
Not concerned about voice prompts, color would be nice but not absolutely necessary. Oh, and I'm not wealthy so under a couple hundred is desirable.
Any suggestions where to start?

For a boy Ryan Allen DeBorde or Nicholas Allen DeBorde.
What do you think of these names and any suggestions for the middle name for Caroline.
Thanks.

I'm 22 and about to marry the man of my dreams. he treats me great and is the best i've ever had in bed. BUT i've always wanted to be with a woman - just once! - and i've thought about having a threesome but i am not comfortable with him being near another woman sexually. so my question is, is it wrong to sleep with a female secretly before we get married next month? just once?

I am in high school.
I am reasonably fit and I play tennis for my school.
I used to play soccer.

I want three things out of a martial art.

#1 (Ideally) The ability to get past lots of thugs with assorted weapons (in a self defense kind of situation)

#2 The ability to just stop someone from moving without hurting them at all (causing damage).

#3 A sport that won't hurt me. I'm sure there aren't any that causee excessive damage to your own body, but I thought I had to mention this point.

I've looked up Aikido, mainly because of #2.

I want a martial art to which there is no sport, only reality.
For example I don't want to know how to do tricks that will get me "points" in a tournament. I want a martial art that will teach me only how to fig

I want a martial Art that is good against anything, even other martial artists of different arts.

Please don't answer without some explanation.
If you're not sure what to reccommend, just give me the best options.
