Hello. I am wondering what is the TRUTH about flash memory cards. Will an SD card with higher speed perform better than ones at regular speeds? Is it true it'll help with flash recycle times and shutter lag? Is there a brand(s) you would steer clear from, or does it really matter? Seems like this one A-Data SD card I bought last year doesn't work as well as it should seemingly. Thanks in advance.

Show there is no tangent to y=x^2 - 4x which passes (2,1)

I used the second fomula to calculate the slope of tangent. the slope of tangent=8. and i got y=8x-15 for the equation of tangent, but how do I show there is no tangent to y=x^2 - 4x??

I have read some articles in the internet about "Christians" discussing the beliefs and practices of their fellow Christians! Wasn't it funny? A Christian rejecting a Christian because of the difference in beliefs and practices...
What I will say to my fellow Christians is that we should respect each other,respect for each other's beliefs, practices and religion.We are all brothers in the eyes of God therefore we should respect each other. Even if we have different beliefs and practices or we have different medium in showing/telling our praises/prayers to God, still the final destination of our prayers and praises is God. How can we attain PEACE in our world, in our family, in our countries if religion itself is the hindrance to attain Peace? We are praying to God for Peace, peace,peace..but how can we attain Peace if we do not know how to RESPECT. I'm saying these not only to my fellow Christians but also to all people belonging to different religions.Let us RESPECT,LOVE each other!

I have a great job as an elementary school teacher.I am also a divorced mother of 2 school-aged boys.Their father is a penniless "artist" who pays very little child support.He is often either not available during the day or cannot access a car.I have no family nearby, and just moved to my area, so I know few people.
Even if I only had myself to care for, I still am sick often enough (I have IBS, asthma, and bad ovarian cysts which need surgery soon) that I use up most or all of my sick days every year. In addition to my own illnesses, I have to stay home when my kids are sick. My youngest is susceptible to any virus around, plus he has bad asthma. I've used up all my sick days for the year, and the next time I miss I will get docked. But what's worse than losing the pay (as a teacher, I barely make ends meet) is that this position ends at the end of this year. I need a good reference to get a job next fall!
How can I find someone to care for my kids when they're sick?

ok im on the highschool football team and i heard some ppl on my team were takin steroids and they were the strongest guys on the team but im not gunna take steroids cause of all the side affects. I'm currently 157 lbs and I really want to loose weight. Summer is approaching fast and I really wonnna drop down to 130 or 140 lbs. My problem areas are my arms I hate them their soooo chunky, my inner thighs, and a little bit of my stomach(not much though. its not really big) Is there any pills or anything I can to take to drop my weight fast. Okay, I changed schools a few months ago, and there's this guy at my old school who is really quiet and does not have many friends at all. He keeps to himself. One day I was on myspace and found his myspace, and we started talking on there. He's been really depressed lately and he vents to me, and we talk about stuff, and he makes me laugh on there in messages and stuff. And when I'm upset he asks if I'm okay and he is there for me when I need to talk to him. He keeps posting bulletins and says he's single and he hates it. I just want to know if it's even a little bit of a possibility that he may like me? I know it sounds stupid, the whole thing does; but I just need some advice...
