There are certain teas you should avoid ask your doctor which ones are best for you. Also, drink caffeine free tea so you don't have to worry about how much caffeine you are consuming.
I believe you should avoid Ginseng and Green tea, but I am not sure. I will check in my book and see what it says, but you should still double check with your doctor.
I drink orange pekoe, I know that is safe.
Just checked my book says the FDA has urged caution on the use of herbal teas during pregnancy and lactation. It also says Green tea should be limited since it may interfere with cell development and growth and that black teas are the safest to consume.

From what I understand, regular tea (black) is ok, if caffeinated, then only in moderation, but decaf is all good. I've heard that certain herbs are not good during pregnancy so find out which ones and avoid herbal teas that contain these. I recently heard that the god send of all tea, Green Tea, should be avoided during pregnancy, but I don't remember why. Sorry, I've got "placenta brain".
Good Luck

You realize, what is inflicting them, easy methods to do away with the opposite beverages that probably contributing to them, might be a few rest strategies, or a few pastime. But if you happen to quite desire to begin consuming tea, get a sampler % at a grocery retailer and check out a complete bunch out. There are the teas that come from the tea plant, camelia sinensus which is available in many oxidative types. Black tea, inexperienced tea, oolong tea, white tea, and so on. They additionally come flavored. Then there are the caffeine loose teas which are not from the tea plant. These can me mint, hibiscus, rooibos, honeybush, fruit teas, jasmine tea (plants), and so on and so on. Note: plenty of those teas would possibly not style well off the bat, however they develop on you slowly.

tea is fine, just remember that is has caffeine in it so drink it in moderation, don't exceed 3 cups a day of coffee coke or tea. and also decaf is NOT fine, they have done studies and the outcome was that women who drank decaf had a higher rate of miscarriage and defects.
