Elvis was a very good and caring man. But also at the same time, he was human. His image, that we (his fans) placed on him were overwhelming. We placed him on a pedestal. He could not live a normal life. To go to the amusement park, he would have to rent the entire place. To go shopping, he would have the rent the entire store and it would be after the stores closed. The concerts he played, his words to his entourage was "some of the people out here has never seen us before so we have to give them a good show. He lived for his fans and his fans lived for him. If you ever watched an Elvis concert or been to one, when he walked out on that stage, the very essence of his grabbed everyone in the audience. It was overwhelming. He would do a concert 2 times a day for 6 months, and the energy he used on that stage was awesome. Can you image putting all the energy he did into a concert two to three times a day for that long of a time? He was a man, and the image and the man, had him being split in two. He did take drugs, I don't believe that it was street drugs for he wouldn't have to do that, he had his own personal doctor so he got anything and everything he wanted. He would have a woman anytime, in any city he wanted. Even if he was there with his wife, or girlfriends, he still had one, two or three on the side. He had a problem with sex. If a woman was a mother, he could not be with them, because of the way he looked at his mother. He took pride with her, he placed her on a pedistal, she took care of him, watched after him, walked him to school. He honored her so when with a woman as with Priscilla, after she had Lisa Marie, he could not look at her anymore as a woman, his woman, his wife, it all turned and she became a "mother" so he couldn't have sex with her. He had to have a woman with small feet. That was one of his pet peeves. He also took so many drugs it left him not able to get an erection. He has hired 2 lebisons to have sex so he could watch, when he got an erection he would go in the bedroom and have sex with the woman he was with. Or, he would have a secret hole in the wall so he could see one of his entourage having sex, and then get a hard on, and go to the woman he was with. So, he had problems there. It's hard to have sex while on alot of medication. He preferred when with a woman, that they would more or less have a conversation usually about a book he would be reading and more or less it would be a book on spirtuality, not religion as in the churches, but spirtuality in the way one would look at the spirt of the world. Usually these women would not satisify him because either they were just pretty sex objects not one with intelligence as to even know anything about what he was reading or what he wanted to talk about. This disappointed him. He relied on his fans and he really loved them. That was a balance. He got hurt when he first began singing because the women would try and get a part of his shirt, and he has come off the stage with half of the clothes he wore. Also, he hated some of the other men that were coming up in the music world such as Tom Jones, Glenn Campbell. So, he always had guns around and he would simply just shooting the tv to erase them. He didn't know he would be the King of Rock and Roll so he was always out there trying to be better and better. He was very giving, to where it would hurt the amount of money he had but he always said, I will just do another concert in order to pay for this. Be kind when you present this dirt as you call it. I have tried to write the good parts about him as well as the other side. He loved to give presents to people especially when it went to someone that didn't have anything. He knew where he had come from and he knew where he was now, so he felt he was giving in the name of Jesus, when he did give to those who did not have anything. The name Sattnin, he gave to his mother because she had skin that felt like satin, so smooth, so he called her that and it picked up as a love name. He also called Cilla this and her love name to him was Fire Eyes. The blue icy cold, when he hurt, and the fire it showed when he was upset and mad. I hope this helps you, feel free to email me if you need any more.
