I have been a catholic my whole life, stopped attending mass during the college years, but by and large have been attending mass consistently for the past 12 years or so. I struggle with concept of confession, I've not been since I was 18, am now 40. Does anyone know when confession was adopted into the church? Part of me believes this was man-made, such as celibate priests which did not start until after 1000 AD. I'm looking for clear answers on how this started in the church not what was done in meetings of church leaders centuries after Christ was cruificied. Thank you for you answers!

I find I am always attracted to stocky, knowledgable and skillful man, but my husband has neither of them. I married to him bcos I like him, and he is a very nice person, intelligent, considerate, loyal and he loves me, also bcos I didnt have enough time to get to know him bcos we were far apart when we started the relationship, I thought I would love him. But now, being in a marriage, I find him more like a trustful friend than my lover, I dont have much passion for him. Some people told me in a marriage, passion doesnt count much, the most important thing is he treats you good and he could share everything with you. But I was in love b4, and I miss that feeling. Now I have been married for 3 months, I constantly find I want more than just this, what should I do, how can I love him? or should I get a divorce?

..So tomorow's my mothers birthday..
and she tells me every time when its her birthday that I should get her a kit full of body lotions..and cream bath
(u know after shower)..coze she loves them
see now I always change on what to get her...the same kit but different smell.or diff product.
Today I went shopping and couldn't find any of them,they were completly vanished!!
So I went 2 this shop and bought her the same kit that 2 years ago I bought her.
same smell..(vanilla)
everything same...and I rememebr she loved it.
I feel so stupid why I bought it again.
would she like it?..or would she say like..OOooo..ok.thanks?

I used 2 really like this guy, even though sometimes he was just a jerk. Until recently he didnt know I liked him, and then when he found out (not by me) 2 things hapeened. First he came up 2 me ditched his entire baseball practice just to talk. and then later on his friend asked if we were going out and he said wat the H** F*** no! so after that I was really hurt, and decided to give up, and I started to not like him. I thought his best friend was pretty sweet, and adorable, and I wasnt sure if I had feelings for him, but he asked me out and I said yes. He is a really sweet guy, I love talking to him but Im not sure if there is a relationship ther yet, like I cant see myself kissing him yet, but I think I should give him a try? the other thing is with his friend, do I really like him, or is it just that he is hot and a jerk. sorry this is long and confusing but pleae help if you can.
