FYI, I'm a non-theist who considers myself on a "Druid" spiritual path. But I do not believe in God(s). The reason I am a regular in this category, the Religion and Spirituality Category, is this is the place to discuss issues related to spirituality.

My question for you is, why are you a regular to this category.

This is I admit, a variation of the stereotypical "Atheists why are you here?" but I feel this question is a more mature educated persons version of the question.

Is your purpose here to learn and to teach?

Is your purpose here to "win souls" for your religion - you view this as "spiritual warfare"?

Are you here to answer every question with "there is no god there is no soul" or a variation of that answer?

I ask this question respectfully and seriously, in hopes of seeing the reasons why people are regulars to this category.

What do you do when your loved one is in college and your still in High school, you never talk bc they are always out at college or in Drivers ED since the state requires it. Also, we live and hr and a half from another and I've tried to tell my loved one how i feel but they say they miss me and all but they dont make any effort to stay home. They're parents are very abusive *verbaly* and they say they go to the college to stay away from them but they take their cell but still never calls or talks to me.. What do I do? Talking isn't helping and I don't know what else to do i don't want to break up with them but what do I do? HELP!

A little boy wanted $50.00 so badly to buy his Mom a special Christmas present, so he prayed for two weeks but nothing happened.

Then he decided to write God a letter requesting the $50. When the postal authorities received the letter addressed to God, USA, they decided to send it to President Bush.

The President was so impressed, touched, and amused that he instructed his secretary to send the little boy a $5.00 bill.

President Bush thought this would appear to be a lot of money to a little boy.

The little boy was so delighted with the $5.00 and sat down to write a thank you note to God, which read:

Dear God,
Thank you very much for sending the money, however, I noticed that for some reason you had to send it through Washington D.C. and, as usual, those crooks deducted $45.00.

"I like you so much, You are so special to me, You have planted a thing within that I never felt before" we were just friends, then we speak on daily basis, we have same interests, he is a caring person. the most i can pump at a time is 5oz and now he needs to eat 6 oz but i can't pump that much how do i increase my breastmilk supply without putting my baby on the breast. For some reson he'll eat a little on the breast and then start screming like mad , not sure why.

Mk well ya see... i found out that my phone bill is about four hundred dollars... WAY OVER! My fathers pissed as hell, and i could lose my phone for about six months. the thing is i found out that my supposed friend had "borrowed" my phone and texted a bunch of people so now its basically because of her, how do i convince my dad to give me another chance and not take away my phone? (hes really pissed... and not easy to talk to)

I was on the AOL website taking the "Are you smarted than a 5th grader quiz. The question they asked is "what is 3/4 + 1/2?" I got the question wrong!!! They said that the correct answer is 10/8. I had to find the common denomenator, 3/4= 6/8 and 1/2= 4/8. Then add the fractions. 6/8+4/8= 10/8.

But wait a second. The LOWEST common denomenator is 4! It would be 3/4 plus 2/4 which is 5/4 or 1.25. If you are looking at a pie chart and you add 75% plus 50%, that is 125%.

Surely AOL wouldn't make such a catestrophic error on their website, or is my math wrong?

When answering, please tell me whose answer is right and also if (and where) AOL apologizes for the error if they messed up the math problem. Thank you!

i love my husband and he say he loves me but he doesnt act like it, actions speak louder than words, we have started marriage counsling, i do love him and i cant imagine being with anyone else, but at the same time, we argue so much, i find my-self thinking maybe i should leave him. and says he loves me, but at the same time he always tell me that he wants me gone and out of his life and he wants me to take r 3 month old son and hit the road. he says he just wants to be single and for it to be just him and his other kids that he has full custody of from his previous relationship. i dont know what he really wants i am so confused, i feel like maybe i should divorce him and find a man that will treat me with respect and love me for who i am. any advice.
