Are brides supposed to have a bridal shower with just girls, and also have a wedding shower, with everybody, and an engagement party to announce the engagemant? What is the spacing for a bridal shower and a wedding shower? Like 2 months before the wedding, or like a month after he proposes?

My parents are being extremely pushy about my college decision. I'm getting so stressed out. The college I want to go to is out of state and they want me to stay in state. I already got accepted into both. They are worried about money money money all the time and i know your not suppose to base your college decision on money alone but that's what they are doing. I know if I dont go to my dream school out of state then I won't be happy with myself for turning it down. I know we have to compare the finances but they have already made THEIR decision when it should be mine.... what should I do :(

Ever since I learned about World War 2, and the Holocaust (in 6'th grade) I've been so interested in it. Now I'm an 18 year old high school senior, and I was wondering if there are ANY holocaust survivors who would be happy to share with me THEIR story. (we can talk through e-mail. It's XxjoieXx07@yahoo.com) You don't HAVE to be Jewish, but if you were in ANY of those concentration camps, labor camps, etc, and you experienced what happened I'd love to hear your story. I perfer Jews to tell me their story, but its okay if your not. Toda Raba (that means "thank you very much" in Hebrew.)

I will have an overnight layover in early December in Amsterdam from a Sunday evening at 8:00pm to Monday afternoon at 3:30pm. I will be traveling with my husband and 3 year old son.

Unfortunately, with our 3 year old along, the red light district will be a no-no. So... I need some family friendly ideas for what we can do, where to stay, places to eat.

Hint: The "best answer" will go to the person who provides me with the most detailed information... including links to the sights, hotels, etc.

Good luck... make our time in Amsterdam unforgettable!

I see all these online gimicks and get paid to this and that but are they really for real? I mean you read all these success stories of how to get paid for filing out a survey or entering data on the internet. But then you get down to the bottom and it says for a low cost of $49.99 you could have all this too. I mean if it's like any other job why do you have to pay for it. I've been unemployed since the first of January. I got laid off after seven years and I've been looking for something around town for work but then I realized I'd rather do something at home then go to another office and be away from my kids. My husband is moving to Florida for a year at the end of May. He was the one who took care of our kids during the day while I went to work. Both my kids will have to go to day care and I can't afford that. If anyone knows of a real online job that pays good and doesn't cost please let me know.

Bush told the country repeatedly that invading Iraq would open the borders to Al Qaeda and Iranian radicals and unleash a vicious centuries-old bloodbath between competing Muslim factions.

Why did you do it, President Kerry? Why?!!

Some other girl that I thought was hot and is actually my girlfriend's friend claimed that she wanted to have sex with me. She even kissed me. I just brushed her off and told her that I am already dating a girl. I didn't want to have sex with my girlfriend's friend because I am already have a girl. I didn't tell my girlfriend. Did my girlfriend set me up to see if I am always loyal to her only? and plus, did I do the right thing by not having sex with my girlfriend's friend? my girlfriend and I didn't start having sex nor we are not going to start soon.
