Ah, thanks. It's ben puzzling me for days - I knew he wasn't from Ireland, but couldn't remember where he was from. I DID know that St David, Patron Saint of Wales, was actually from Ireland.
Wonder where St Andrew (Patron Saint of Scotland) was from...
Seems like you can't be a saint in your own home town, eh?
