"I like you so much, You are so special to me, You have planted a thing within that I never felt before" we were just friends, then we speak on daily basis, we have same interests, he is a caring person. Yesterday it was his first hint of a kind of feelings. Still am not sure whether he is so interested as an addicted friend or it is a beginning of other thing?

I think it's a new beginning because, well, let's take it step by step:
"I like you so much" Means that obviously, he wants a little more because this guy likes you.....so much
"You are special to me" Yea, this is on half of all cards you can find at Hallmark(lol) But enough for him to SAY it? Wow...
"You have planted a thing within that that I never felt before" Planted means like a switch in his head that hasn't turned on. The swich of love.
In conclusion, this guy REALLY likes you. If he doesn't do anything about it for, let's give him 2 weeks, then YOU do something about it. He'll be thrilled....
~~~~Good Luck!!! ~~~~
Well, if you like him you can simply say, Are you still hitting on my... If he answers yes then you can leave a certain way saying... Yes, he does... If he says no, just still be friends with him.. just be careful because it might be too late in your relationship as a friend, it might feel weird at first.. But if you really like him. You will get use to it..
