Our body is made of soil. If a soul can reside in this body made of soil, why cant a soul reside in an idol of clay? Why do some people call idol worshipping wrong?

I don't think that I dress that way at all. Why do some say that. I am 24 but don't look my age, I've been told I look 18. I wear normal pants, like jeans and such, and I like things of "Victoria's Secret pink" type. Some people seem to have problems with this for some reason, they tell me I dress like a little girl, why?

Ok so I am a junior in high school and am totally fine with myself being gay. So there is this new boy in my science class that came in at the beginning of the 2nd semester. I have gotten the feeling that he glances over at me often, and I have caught him. Now when I do catch I hardly make eye contact with in order to avoid the sticky situation. See I'm afraid that if I smile at him he'll reject that and totally stay away from me thinking what a creep to come on to a straight guy. But then again, I am not for certain if he is gay to begin with. This is not the end of the story though... I finally one day mustered up the confidence to go talk to him since not only I but my best friend had dreams about him and I. So I went up to him after class ended, almost didn't catch him if it weren't for me calling his name. So we got to talk, but not a lot since his class was just down the hall. Now unluckly, I decided to talk to him the last day of school before spring break, ughhh!!! What to do?

I'd like to know the place of religion in Victorian England. What was the main religion, how did they treat other sects and women? What were their views on social class and poverty? Any useful sites would be appreciated, thanks.

I just bought a big screen TV and a home theatre system. The home theater system came with a DVD player that acts as the main processor for the system. Basically, everything dealing with the audio needs to go through there and into the speakers. The problem is that my TV does not have a composit audio out, only the ports for the speaker wires (the TV came with a big speaker that attaches at the bottem and connects to the back of the TV via the speaker wires.) So because of this I cannot make my Audio from the Television, Playstation 3 or Ipod come out of the home theater system speakers, only the one TV speaker. I need a cable that will have the little speaker wires on one end and the AV composite cables on the other so I can listen to everything through the speakers. If you know the name of what i am looking for please help me, I dont seem to be explaining it right to the people at the stores. Thanks

WASHINGTON (AFP) - The United States chided its key Middle East ally Egypt on Thursday over the treatment of a student blogger jailed for making online statements deemed insulting to religion and the president.

"The United States is disappointed that the initial appeal of the Egyptian student blogger Abdel Karim Suleiman was not successful," State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said in a prepared statement.

"We are deeply concerned by this conviction and prison sentence for expressing his opinion," McCormack said, adding that the prosecution of Suleiman was "a setback for human rights in Egypt."

"We know that Mr Suleiman can pursue a further appeal and we will continue to closely monitor this case," he said.

A court in the Egyptian city of Alexandria on Monday upheld a four-year prison sentence handed down last month against Suleiman.

The 22-year-old was sentenced to three years for insulting religion and a year for defaming President Hosni Mubarak after posting an entry on his blog lashing out at Cairo's Al-Azhar University -- the highest seat of learning in Sunni Islam.

The conviction drew widespread condemnation from Egyptian and international human rights groups, which saw the case as an attempt to intimidate Egypt's burgeoning Internet blogging scene.

The United States has frequently criticized the Egyptian government for the lack of democratic freedoms it allows, but had recently toned down its comments as it sought Muburak's support for efforts to stabilize Iraq and rekindle Israeli-Palestinian peace efforts.
