If we do no believe in God, how do you think that Satan is perpetrating our lack of belief. With our current understanding of the universe around us, God does not seem to be in the least bit plausible.

Do you believe that Satan is actually a root cause of Atheism?

Someone put it to me recently that he believes the world to be millions of years old.
There is scientific evidence to proof it. Apparently.

I guess if you think about it it could work.

In Genisis it says "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty"
Maybe this is a few million years between these verses and this next verse.
"And God said, "Let there be light..."
This could be when God starts to 'dress' the earth with light, water, people, animals etc.


What are your thoughts or knowledge on this?

My BF has this stereotype - he thinks that most Asian women love to wear open-toe sandals, like flip-flops and such. I don't think it's true, because most of the time when we go eat, we would eat at Asian places, so of course there's a lot of Asian people around. Well, I'd like to get your opinion.

no, i'm not some random 14 year old girl who thinks she has the biggest problem in the world, and i wish some people wouldn't assume that!

but, yes i am 14.
my parents just got a divorce.
my brother, and my father both have a drinking problem.
i'm 90% sure i'm bi-polar.
i've almost commited suicide.
my loving friends stopped me.
but, i'm having second thoughts..
i don't know half the things that go on in my head these days.
i can never think straight.
it's like i'm going crazy or something.

can someone who might be going through the same thing help me deal with this?

I'm in the middle of an important paper, but every 5 minutes a window comes up and says my computer needs to be restarted for installing automatic updates, and will shut down in 5 minutes. I keep pushing the option to "restart later" but it keeps coming back up all the time. Can I make it stop this, so that I can just restart it whenever I want?

My son is 14 years old and has ADHD. He's very impulsive and has dyslexia as well as auditory processing disorder (what he hears isnt what is being said- at least not in the same order). He went to speech therapy when he was in 1st-3rd grade for the auditory processiong disorder and he's medicated for his ADHD. He was doing well at his school but we moved so he had to move schools. His new school is not at all sympthetic to his needs. He's been suspended 3 times because he's been disruptive in the classroom. His dad went to school with him one day and followed him around. We learned that one of his teachers is always fussing at him- even when he's being quiet. Now, he's on the brink of not passing 8th grade because of the difficult time he's having. Any ideas? We've grounded him, taken away his video games and TV, etc. We have 2 girls who are doing great in school. Also, my son is a great person. He's very talented musically. He's becoming depressed and I worry alot about him. Ideas?
