You first must work diligently to be successful enough to comfortably support yourself and your extended family, no matter how large.

After you have accomplished that, you can then tend toward helping others who are unable to help themselves.

You must sacrifice your own self to help others. You may not be rewarded in any sense other than feeling some satisfaction in knowing that you are making a difference in an area of need.

Others will notice and reward you in kind.
