Sweet, sweet irony of the (some) theists.

They insist that there is God because atheists don't know everything about the universe and there are a couple of unexplained things, how can they be certain that there is God?

At the same time, these are the same people that reject evolution just because it has "never" been observed, or perhaps they lack the ability to comprehend an event that requires a long period of time.


So basicly the irony is that these people claim atheists do not have a larger scope on things to comprehend God but at the same time they don't have the larger scope on things to comprehend evolution.

I saw this comedian a few days ago (on Comedy Central) and I'm trying to figure out what his name is. He did an act about how his family couldn't afford real popcicles, so they made home made "poverty pops". He also said that his family couldn't afford Scool Pictures. And there was always a rich in the front of the line with "Packet A" and he's all the way in the back with "Packet Q" lol.

Im 19 and my boyfriend was looking up pre teens porn online at google.We had a huge argument when I walked in catching him .I usually dont have a problem with him and his porn magazines and videos but this PRE thing freaked me out. I asked why was he looking up "pre" and he said because he was looking for 18 year olds.(my boyfriend 27) He says he likes 18 year old which disgusts me because they're so many american girls who are 13-17 who looked fully devloped as if they are 21 or even 30 year olds!He accually tried to justify this sick things about 17 and 18 is a huge difference.As if!
Most underaged girls are looking older.Yes 18 is the legal age but he feels its okay because its legal.Morally it isn't.He always talk $/h!t about his older friends being perverts and how he thinks its wrong because they are too old for them but I really think deep down inside he knows hes the perv. I bet when he get to their age he will be just like them

I just bought a 6 feet 4 grand piano from my friend. The piano is close to 30 years old. It does not come with a protective cover nor a cloth to protect its ivory keys. Are these 2 items essential and a must for me to buy for proper maintenance? Must the material of the piano cover be only made of any specific material like velvet etc? I am thinking of buying the material and make my own cover so please advise me the material which I should buy. As for the cloth which protects the keys, do most piano shops sell it? If piano shops do not sell, can I also buy the material and make it myself? What is the material of the cloth? Your suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Well i figured the volume of the cylinder is (5/4)pi and area of small circle is 0.00196m^2 i dunno what to do next ?? please help .but im stuck... plz plz help me with this !! ive asked everyone and no1 can help :(

I have two hard disk on my system.I have installed XP in first Hard disk and i am using it.I have one more Hard disk which i want to attach to my PC, format it and i want to Install Sun Solaris? How can i do this without affecting the First Hard disk?

My daughter is 1 and a half and within the last 3 days she fell and banged her head she 1st fell of me dads sofa then the next day my sofa and yes then off the bed she hasnt been sick showed no signs of concussiion and has no lumps do you think I should have her checked over??? Shes still happy in her self but I feel she is an accident waiting to happen as I`ve never known a kid to fall so much ???

I had a retired teacher that seemed so helpful at first on yahoo answers. We even emailed and she gave me some advice but then she dropped me so to speak. I am financially burdened. I have been divorced for 7 .5 years, 5 of which no child support and now I have to stay home because I have to be home for kids in afternoon. I have teins 9.5 and twins 8. I need help w/ one of the 9 year olds. i am desperate for advice and help. He has had suicidal tendencies and possibly homicidal ones as well. He has gotten alot better and has learned to control his temper alot better but the school issues are hurting him. I cannot afford a private tutor and I can't do it because of having my other children. Is there any help out there? Could he somehow fall under any category to receive any financial assistance, ssi, disability, or financial burden grant for me? My other 3 children are in a gifted program so it is difficult for him and he has very low self esteem. Yes, we've done counseling, etc.

If I divorce will I be called an 'unfit mother'? I'm doing fine, but I'm very scared knowing there's something in my head. It's not growing fast. I have to have MRIs every two years to make sure it doesn't grow. My husband lives abroad, and didn't even bother to come and help when it was diagnosed and the hospital phoned him. He phoned me angrily in the hospital and said "what the ****** is going on?"
He hasn't sent any child support for the children, and is trying to force us to go to live with him. But he lives in a remote place where the medical care is not OK for this sort of thing, and besides that, I don't think he cares if I live or die. I think it is a control thing that he wants us to go to him, and the children don't want to move there. They have been so wonderful, so brave, and they don't deserve this from their father.
I have no family to go to.
I need to divorce and get child support, but I am very worried that the court might make the children go and live with him.
