I met a girl at a friends wedding a month ago - she seemed really positive & fun. she talked a fair bit (mostly about her) and i notice she kept sitting next to me, come to ask why i'm not on the dace floor with her, coming outside when I was..etc

she crossed my mind a few times since. I got her number from friends new wife, & gave her a call. She was driving at the time so I said I'd call her back in 15 she didn't answer. i text her to say i don't understand what i said in the matter of minutes to make her ignore me and that i would take it she is having a bad day. she text me to say she was having a bad day & that she would be free the next day should i wish to call. i was busy all week so i called her end of the week - no answer. i text her for the last time to contact me back when she is free. i gave her an option to prank me if she had no credit on her phone (she is poor). she text me a few days later apologising for not replying back sooner as she had no credit on phone.

I'm 20 years old, almost 21, and I drank/did drugs all throughout high school and early college years, and I don't enjoy doing either of those things anymore. All of my friends drink and party all the time and I feel really left out because I don't and I don't have fun being around a bunch of drunk people

I feel like I've lost all my friends cause they have fun without me and only talk to me to dump their problems on me or complain about other people.

What should I do?

New Years Eve. Grrrreat. Being 15 leaves you with nothing to do at this time of year, especially when you have spots resembling the Himalayas and the face and body of a 10 year old. I know a lot of people going to parties, but maybe this isn’t for me. Noone speaks to me anyway..i’m one of those people that peple laugh at not with. Never a good look when its time to go back to school. For example..christmas eve. Holly and Immy let me go out….dressed as a banana. A banana?! What was I thinking. We all thought it was hilarious..until I arrived at the party realsing that it was apparently the one night when every girl in the year could wear as little as possible and call it a ‘costume’. Ha. I felt like..well…like a banana. Urghh..see..laughing stock. So that night ended with me dragging my big yellow self back home by 9pm. And bringing in Christmas with my dribbly little brother!

My son is 2 and is in daycare. Before daycare we never had this problem so I dont know if daycare has done this to him. The problem is when we are anywhere he SCREAMS so loud. I mean if he dont get his way he screams, if he is excited he screams. He wont stop. It is super high pitch. I've gave him timeout and told him he cant scream like that but it dont work. His daddy gives in so he dont have to hear it and I've told him that he is just hurting him in the long run. What do I do? I cant handle it, and I cant stand to take him to a public place. Like a few days ago we took him to the zoo and he would scream in the buildings and it would echo and I had people staring at me like take care of your son. I am trying so hard. What do I do?

I have a dachshund that can be breed but the people that I bought him from will not give me the sire and dam's numbers so I can send his papers in. I have the understanding that I have to have those numbers in order to get him registered. If they won't give them to me for whatever reason, what can I do?

Over the last five years my parents have put me in mental hospitals eight times.
If I told my mother to screw off.... she would have the police pick me up and I would be put in a mental hospital. She would tell them that I was acting badly or whatever else.
I have been diagnosed with:
-ADD
-Borderline personality disorder
-Bi-polar Disorder
-Bio-Schizo Affective disorder
-Body Dismorphic disorder
-Schizophrenia
-Obsessive compulsive

My mother told them that I was jogging with weights in a backpack. So they diagnosed me with a mental illness.
-She told them that I didn't always wash my dishes.... so they diagnosed me with a mental illness.

I sleep fine. Always have. I don't go "manic". Never have. I've never harmed anyone. I don't hallucinate.... don't think anyone is out to get me... I have pretty good self esteem. I don't hear voices... never have.

So you tell me.... is psychiatry just COMPLETE BS ?
