Me and my best friends are throwing my sister a surprise b-day party. She is turning 13. She plays field hockey, basketball, and track. She LOVES frogs and giraffes. It's at my house and I don't know how to decorate. My house has a kitchen and dining room-hardwood floors. A living room. A game room- the den area and a porch. And the bedrooms of course. Should we decorate with sports, frogs or giraffes.
Also, I am not the best party planner. What are some good games to play with 5 couples in their teens? Spin the bottle, Truth or dare? What?
Help please!
Thanks!

If a person has sex with several people, that person is automatically labeled as a **** & mocked by the general public. Why is this so? Maybe the person is not emotionally ready for a relationship as yet, or the person has not met a relationship-material person as yet, but until that time what's wrong with having some fun?

I mean, this is what older adults tell teens so that they keep their focus on studies, or encourage building up good relationship ethics when they turn into adults. But once they're adults, why people criticize them if they sleep around? They have to look at the person's situation and make a proper judgment, instead of stereotyping them as "****s".

What are your views on this?

I'm auditioning for the Illinois All-State theater production of Parade this summer. I've been in a non-musical, one act version of the show before and I'd really like to play the part I had, Mary Phagan, again. I all-ready know what song I'm going to sing but I still can't find a monologue. Parade is a contemporary musical so the monologue can't be from a show that too old, also it absolutely must be dramatic. This is probably the most important audition I will ever have before I go to college PLEASE HELP!

I am taking a semester off from college and my dad won't let me live at my apartment (we're paying the lease anyway) which is an hr away. He is very controlling-- he seldom lets me go out, makes up excuses for me not to see my boyfriend, and gives me stupid curfews even though I'm 21. He grounds me if I'm even 5 minutes late. He also takes his stress out on me by hitting me with the soft side of a golf club (enough to get a bruise) over stupid things like if I park my car in the wrong spot on our driveway. He and my mom used to fight a lot but they stopped when I left for college. Now that I'm home, our household is unsettling again. My mom used to intervene, but she's so scared of my dad that she now turns the other way when he loses his temper with me. She never yells at him, she yells at me because of making him angry or blames me for her non-terminal cancer, or blames me for screwing up everything. Why won't my dad let me live at my own apt? Why are my parents this way?
IDEAS??

Where I work, there is a controversy going concerning a child. She said some very inappropriate things to another staff member -- in which I thought were way beyond her thought pattern as a 13 year old girl. (Keep in mind that this girl behaves badly in class too)

After reporting this and having a meeting with her Mother, the situation has gotten worst. Her mother doesn't seem to believe that her child would say such things. As a result, in order to please the Mom, the school officials are investigating whether or not the child was told to say these things by one of the staff members.

I tried to explain to the principle that I witnessed everything and that the child said inappropriate things under who own free will, but the Prinicple believes still wants to do more investigating.

I have a feeling that a situation that could have bee resolved by a suitable punishment will turn into a huge ordeal because the principle doesn't want to deal with it.

I am a 9th grade girl (14 yrs. old) running the 400m. My time now is 1:11, but i really want to get it down under 1 min. by the end of the season. Any tips/tricks? I just got in my cleats, and that time was without them, so maybe i will be able to drop a second off. What would be a reasonable time to get? I can run the 200m in 30.1 seconds so i don't know how reasonable doing the 400m in <60 will be. What are your times?

Thanks

Last night I asked a girl if she wanted to go to church with me (again) tonight, and that we would leave early and go get dinner. She said she would like to go, and would let me know for sure today. Is this a date? And do I pay for her dinner? Thanks.
