am taking a semester off from college and my dad won't let me live at my apartment (we're paying the lease anyway) which is an hr away. He is very controlling-- he seldom lets me go out, makes up excuses for me not to see my boyfriend, and gives me stupid curfews even though I'm 21. He grounds me if I'm even 5 minutes late. He also takes his stress out on me by hitting me with the soft side of a golf club (enough to get a bruise) over stupid things like if I park my car in the wrong spot on our driveway. He and my mom used to fight a lot but they stopped when I left for college. Now that I'm home, our household is unsettling again. My mom used to intervene, but she's so scared of my dad that she now turns the other way when he loses his temper with me. She never yells at him, she yells at me because of making him angry or blames me for her non-terminal cancer, or blames me for screwing up everything. Why won't my dad let me live at my own apt? Why are my parents this way?

I have one beautiful son that is 6yrs old His was a very easy pregnancy and labor. No complications at all!! Since then Ive had 3 miscarriages. one ended at 6 1/2 weeks, the next at 7 and this last at 8weeks. just came out of no where. felt pregnancy was going well then one day booom bleeding and clots and no more baby. Any idea what causes these back to back miscarriages? I understand ONE but THREE IN A ROW??

I have a couple of accounts that were in write-off but i paid them over 1 year ago. i have 1 account in collections that i do not remember at all. i read on website site that the statute of limitations for my state is about 5 years. all those items were placed on my credit report in 2001 and 2002. those accts that i paid off are still on my credit report as a negative. Can i call these collections agency and ask them to remove all those items on my credit report because it has exceeded the statute of limitations?

did anyone see that documentary on channel 4 the other night that presented the case for global warming being a big lie perpetuated by radicals and scientists looking for funding on loosely related research?

the scientists interviewed were far more compelling than al gore and his shaky powerpoint presentation.

they systematically dismantle his argument by telling us what does actually affect climate rather than speculating that more CO2 equals warmer weather, a relationship that gore has got the wrong way round.

any comments welcome.
