I know how you feel, my sister had 2 miscarriages and then had her son. He is 4 years old now. She had another miscarriage this past year. She still believes that she can have another child. I don't think she'll give up. The doctor said they could do something for her but only after so many in a row. Maybe you could talk to your doctor and see what he/she can do for you. Look how blessed you are to have your son! Good Luck :)

I had my first son...no problems...then had 5 miscarriages in a row! They found that my hormone level was way off. To successfully carry a pregnancy, I had one year of progesterone injections every month. (I was also on birth control as my OB didn't want me to get pregnant during this time...giving my uterus and body a rest.)
I became pregnant after one year and my son was a miracle to me! Then I lost another pregnancy after him and went back on the hormone therapy once more for 6 months and then had my daughter. Talk to your doctor about this...it can be done...Im living proof! By the way...all my pregnancies aborted at 6-8 weeks too.

I went through the same thing after having my first daughter. I had 3 miscarriages, and one of them was with losing only one twin, I had the other twin just fine, and then more normal pregnancy. I do not know why this happens, but I had read that your body will naturally abort a fetus if something is wrong with it.

If the father of your first child is the same as now, then we know it probably isn't an issue with you two as partners. However, it COULD be. It also could be a problem with your hormones, notable progesterone.

I work at a major women's hospital. After three consecutive miscarriages, most of our doctors would recommend genetic counseling.

Good luck. My heart goes out to you. I know this is very heartbreaking to you and your husband.

My pal is going by way of an analogous difficulty and he or she has had 7 miscarriages in a row. The wellbeing care provider ultimately positioned her on pregesterone cream to maintain her from dropping yet another. so a great way so sturdy and he or she is now 4 months alongside. talk on your wellbeing care provider.
