Show in 2 ways that the function ln(x^2+y^2) is harmonic in every domain that does not contain the origin.

My problem with this quesiton is firstly, I don't know two ways, because normally I would do Cauchy-Riemann equations but there is no real/imaginary numbers so I don't know what is u(x,y) and what is v(x,y)

As a function I know that if I differentiate in terms of x I get
2x/(x^2+y^2) which is a continuous function (where x and y don't equal 0)

Same goes for differentiating in terms of y I get 2y/(x^2+y^2)

This is a question from the next book with no answer and I just don't see where it's going, it's in the start of a chapter regarding logs and complex variables, however I dont see 2 methods of proving it is harmonic.

Dear all,

We have several computers and all of them are not recognizing any USB Device both built in and External USB’s hub are not working.
Only a Software Dangle is working on one port.
Windows was formated and reinstalled but nothing changed

What do you suggests?

The car ir a renualt campus 5 (no laughin) and I believe it to be the brakes. Most probably the rear brakes. The noise is coming from the back left and is more prominent when turning left and when turning right it sometimes disappears altogether.

My thoughts are the back brakes are seazed and what I need to know is what is the best way to release them? All help gratefully received.

Considering the effect that single mother households have on boys, what would the consequences of gays raising both boys and girls be? I am certainly not infering they will all turn gay, but will this affect these children adversely?

How can a pure mind be tied up with matter full of evil. How can these two opposites come into rrelationship wit each other?
In referrence, all prominent philosophers agreed that matter is is spontaneous, thus a seat for evil.
Setting aside Descartes' controversial theory of dualism, please explain the relationship between pure matter and pure mind in the general idea encompassing broad inclusion of everything in existence.

I am not homophobic or a gay basher. I believe that what two (or more) consenting adults do with one another is there business, and as long as it does not hurt anybody should be allowed.

However, I think that the act of homosexuality is not natural. It goes against nature. Sexual relations, as pleasurable as they may be, is for procreation; The pleasure is what ensures that a species copulate in order to continue their own kind. Since two members of the same sex cannot procreate, then it goes against the natural order of things.

Humans are part of the animal kingdom, biology applies to them too. Although we are exceptions, we are still in essence animals.

Note that I am basing my beliefs on what is observable and scientific. So please don't call me a bigot or a gaybasher. I realise that there are many social factors that need to be taken under consideration. As I have stated in the first paragraph.

Anyway how can I explain, tactfully what I believe without offending anybody
